Despite their pleas for mercy, Chen Gong showed no leniency, executing one after another. Yan Lin and his companions found themselves caught up in this misfortune, feeling extremely anxious as escape seemed impossible with soldiers stationed on both sides of the bridge.
Just as Chen Gong approached them with his gun drawn, Chen Wen finally arrived. She ordered him to stop immediately, but he ignored her commands and continued pulling the trigger.
At that moment, Chen Gong aimed at Yan Lin, but unlike others who complied with their fate, Yan Lin fought back. Those on the shore cheered at this unexpected turn of events; they had been oppressed by Chen Ba for too long and found joy in witnessing this confrontation—whether genuine or not.
Chen Ba soon arrived with a group of soldiers, watching with interest as the two fought. Yan Lin and Chen Gong fell into the water, struggling against each other. Chen Wen walked over and pressed her gun against Chen Gong's head, threatening him to let Yan Lin and Evergreen go. Reluctantly, he complied.
Watching Chen Wen lead them away, Chen Gong chose not to report her actions; after all, she was his sister—one he could never truly acknowledge as he was merely an illegitimate child.
Back at Chen Wen's residence, both sides understood each other's intentions and decided to join forces to overthrow Chen Ba's rule and destroy the Overlord's Armor Removal!

Everyone was ecstatic when they finally retrieved the Luoshu Plate. However, alarms blared suddenly as soldiers surrounded them. Chen Ba arrived just in time to kick the Luoshu Plate into the fire.
Evergreen refused to back down and quickly used a hook to retrieve it from the flames. Meanwhile, Chen Gong kicked him down to the ground. Seeing this, Yan Lin rushed over to grab it but burned himself in the process and had no choice but to drop it.
At that moment, Evergreen was kicked down again by Chen Gong and accidentally sat on top of the Luoshu Plate, yelping in pain from the heat. Ultimately, under Chen Wen's cover, they managed to escape.
"The Luoshu Plate is still not retrieved!" one exclaimed.
"Forget about it for now; escaping is our priority! We'll find a way to get it back!" another replied.
During their escape, a group of guerrillas suddenly appeared and captured them. It turned out these guerrilla members had secretly formed this group due to their inability to endure Chen Ba's tyranny.

With the location of the tomb confirmed, Yan Lin and his team brought explosives to a cave where Chen Ba’s army soon arrived as well. The guerrillas launched an ambush but were quickly overwhelmed due to a significant power disparity.
However, Evergreen noticed that Chen Ba’s luck seemed to be waning; if they attacked from behind vigorously enough, they could turn things around. Sure enough, after blowing up several tanks at their rear flank, their forces weakened significantly.
Chen Ba was immediately enraged. He ordered Chen Gong to stay behind to deal with the guerrillas while he took a helicopter into the cave to confront Yan Lin.
As soon as Chen Ba jumped into the cave, he began fighting Yan Lin. In the brutal exchange of blows, Yan Lin realized he was no match for Chen Ba, so he threw a grenade, igniting a nearby stash of explosives.
Before the explosion occurred, both men jumped out of the cave and landed in a tree before falling to the ground, surviving the fall. However, after the Power Cave was destroyed, Chen Ba's luck completely faded, and his army quickly fell into a disadvantage.
In the chaos, Chen Gong was also shot to pieces. Yan Lin and Chen Ba fought all the way to his home, where Yan Lin aimed to destroy the model of the military base and obliterate Chen Ba's last chance at success!
Chen Ba desperately tried to protect it. But Yan Lin was no match for him and soon found himself battered and nearly unconscious. They were oblivious to the dark clouds gathering in the sky and the lightning swirling around them at that moment when the model was completely destroyed.
Looking at the utterly ruined model, Chen Ba pulled out a gun and shot Yan Lin in the head! "You reckless fool! You've ruined my grand ambitions!"
