Zou Tiao eventually figured it out. No matter what Zhe Zhe was thinking, he would just pursue her. If she didn't agree, then the two of them would be entangled for a lifetime.

Zou Tiao looked at her face, so close to him, and couldn't help but tightly hug her waist. "Will you divorce? I’ll listen to everything you say from now on. If you tell me to go east, I won’t go west; if you tell me to kill a dog, I won’t even touch a chicken. I won’t do anything reckless again... I’ll listen to everything you say..."
Tears seeped through her clothes, cool against her skin. She realized he must have heard from someone else that she had gone home. In fact, she had an older sister who was the one getting married, not her.
She reached out and gently rubbed his head. "Zou Tiao..."
Before she could finish her sentence, he choked up. "You still owe me rent from before; I won't make you pay it back as long as you get divorced."

Zhe Zhe thought, enough is enough. Just like what her sister said during this visit home, do not hesitate out of fear. If one is destined to lose in the end, having once possessed something is braver than never having had it at all; at least she had tried so hard.

Love is like a swamp; few can emerge unscathed, and few can escape without being tainted, living a pure life. One should not easily step into the mire.
Because not every time will you have the chance to make amends.
