When Shen Yulin pressed his lips against mine, I felt as if I was being drawn in by an irresistible force. Although I hesitated at first, his passionate kiss awakened a strange desire within me, an emotion I had never experienced before.
I closed my eyes, feeling as though my entire body was enveloped in flames, every inch of my skin trembling with pleasurable touches. Gradually, I forgot everything around me, focusing solely on this moment and the warmth and passion that Shen Yulin brought.
In that instant, I no longer resisted nor did I want to; I just wanted to immerse myself in this indescribable joy, embracing Shen Yulin in this moment that belonged only to us.
Outside the door, music from the neighboring KTV room drifted in.
"Ambiguity brings endless grievances, unable to find evidence of love, when to move forward, when to give up..."
Indeed, ambiguity is a state that causes much suffering; it traps one in an unpredictable emotional whirlpool, sometimes fiery and passionate, other times cold as ice. Ambiguity leaves one restless and constantly on edge. We do not know each other's thoughts and hesitate to express our feelings for fear that confessing will lead to losing one another. This unspoken emotion is troubling and distressing, as if trapped in a quagmire from which one cannot escape.
Ambiguity is a double-edged sword; while it intoxicates with its sweetness and thrill, it also subjects one to torment and anguish. In ambiguity, we often lose ourselves, unsure of how to proceed, silently enduring the inner turmoil and unease.
Finally, Shen Yulin released me. "Star, from now on you can only let me kiss you, okay?"
I felt a surge of emotions within me as countless thoughts intertwined in my mind. His request plunged me into conflict; I didn't know how to respond. I wanted to refuse but was simultaneously drawn in by his tenderness, my feelings tangled and conflicted.
I knew agreeing to only kiss him was a compromise—a regulation of our relationship—but I also understood that this wouldn't resolve the issue; it might only leave me more confused and pained. Yet I didn't know what choice would be right.
In this state of mind, I felt as if I were shrouded in fog, unable to see the path ahead. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself and think about how to respond to his request. At that moment, my heart was filled with struggle and unease; I didn't know where to seek answers.
Seeing my agreement, Shen Yulin gently embraced me. "In my heart, you have a place, Star."
I melted into his arms upon hearing those words; a sweetness filled my heart.
"Star, don't go out with Liao Jian. Okay?" Shen Yulin said with a hint of pleading.
"But..." Before I could finish my sentence, Shen Yulin kissed me again, silencing my unfinished words.
It wasn't until the feeling of breathlessness returned that I pushed Shen Yulin, and he reluctantly let go of me.
"Got it," I replied softly before shyly pushing him away and leaving the restroom.
As we returned to the KTV room one after the other, Zhang Yun grabbed my arm. "Where have you been so long? If it weren't for that idiot Haifeng pulling me back, I would have gone looking for you."
Thinking about what had just happened in the restroom, I quickly changed the subject: "Are we heading back? It's already 11 o'clock."
Zhang Yun glanced at her watch and then at Cheng Haifeng, before saying to Shen Yulin: "I'm leaving with Star now; you take care of him."
Shen Yulin nodded and single-handedly pulled Haifeng aside: "Be careful on your way back; don't worry about him."
"Okay then, we'll head out first," I said as I bid farewell to Zhang Yun and our classmates before leaving.
