Just as I was about to call out to her, Shen Yulin suddenly reached out and grabbed my arm, saying, "How about I take you to check out the hot spring behind the guesthouse? There's a hot spring there." Upon hearing the word "hot spring," my eyes instantly lit up, but then quickly dimmed again. "But... I don't think I brought my swimsuit..."
"You can check your suitcase; maybe I prepared one for you in advance."
"Really? Then let's hurry back to the room and check!" With that, I eagerly pulled him along as we rushed back to the guesthouse.
Once inside, I dashed back to my room and rummaged through my suitcase. With anticipation, I opened it and indeed found a swimsuit. "Wow, you really did prepare one!" I exclaimed happily, holding the swimsuit up against myself.
"I’m quite attentive," Shen Yulin said with a smile. After changing into our swimsuits and wrapping ourselves in towels, we headed towards the hot spring behind the guesthouse. The steaming water was inviting, surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel like we were in a fairyland.
I jumped into the hot spring, and the warm water enveloped me completely, washing away all my fatigue. Shen Yulin gently stepped into the water as well, and we sat facing each other, enjoying this tranquil moment.
"It's so beautiful here..." I said, lost in happiness.
"Yes, it's even better with you here," Shen Yulin gazed at me affectionately. My face flushed instantly, and my heart raced like a deer.
As the sun began to set, Shen Yulin and I leaned against each other, gazing at the sky and sharing our feelings. "Thank you; I'm really happy today," I said sincerely.
"Me too," Shen Yulin smiled, his eyes revealing a hint of tenderness. "As long as I'm with you, I'm happy." My cheeks turned slightly red as my heartbeat quickened uncontrollably.
At that moment, an untimely voice interrupted us. "Fanxing, are you two here?" Turning to look in the direction of the voice, I saw Meili with her big watery eyes looking at us. She was wearing a very alluring swimsuit that perfectly accentuated her curves. Her long hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall, gently brushing against her fair back as it swayed in the breeze.
She slowly walked over and stood by the edge of the hot spring looking at us. "Can I join you?"
"That's not appropriate," Shen Yulin replied coldly. I felt awkward and didn't know what to say.
Meili didn't seem angry. "Fanxing, your brother doesn't seem to like me very much."
"He’s not my brother; he’s my boyfriend."
"Oh, he's your boyfriend? He's really handsome." Meili's gaze kept darting towards Shen Yulin. I leaned forward slightly in an attempt to block her view of him.
"Then I'll go soak over there; I won't disturb you guys." With that, she slowly walked past us and approached Shen Yulin from behind. Suddenly she slipped and let out a yelp as her hand brushed against Shen Yulin's shoulder before she fell straight into the hot spring beside him.
Shen Yulin quickly moved aside with a look of disgust directed at Meili. However, Meili pretended to act weak again and leaned against Shen Yulin. Unable to tolerate it any longer, he stood up and said firmly, "Get away!" After that, he pulled me away from the hot spring.
On our way back to the room, Shen Yulin wore a gloomy expression. Feeling somewhat angry, I said to him, "She clearly did that on purpose!"
"Don't be upset; I only care about you," he comforted me while holding me tightly. I pushed him away slightly. "We're outside; it would be embarrassing if someone sees us."
Shen Yulin released me but suddenly picked me up in his arms. "Xinbao, I want you." Embarrassed, I quickly buried my head in his chest as I listened to his heartbeat quickening.
A night filled with affection...
