East Ring Road, in front of a high-end restaurant.
Lu Yuan and Jin Yun walked over and were about to enter when Lu Yuan suddenly stopped.
Jin Yun looked at him, "What's wrong?"
Lu Yuan pointed to a chair at the entrance, "There's someone there."
Jin Yun followed Lu Yuan's gaze and looked over.
At the entrance of the restaurant, a woman was sitting alone on a single chair. She was dressed lightly, sitting there all by herself, looking somewhat lonely.

Jin Yun smiled slightly, "Why are you here all alone?"

"Waiting for whom?"
The woman paused before speaking, "Jiang Yuan."

Lu Yuan looked at her, "You are Jiang Yuan's..."
"I'm her sister."
Lu Yuan frowned, "Sister?"
The woman nodded, "Yes."
Lu Yuan pressed his lips together, "Why don't you go inside to wait for her?"
The woman lowered her gaze, "I'm afraid she won't see me."
Lu Yuan paused before saying, "Then why don't you come in with us?"
The woman raised her head and looked at him, "Is that okay?"
Lu Yuan smiled, "Of course it is."
The woman hesitated for a moment, then stood up and said, "Thank you."
Lu Yuan smiled, "You're welcome."
The woman followed Lu Yuan and Jin Yun inside.
They found a place to sit down, and just after they ordered, Jiang Yuan arrived.
When she saw Lu Yuan and Jin Yun, she didn't react much until she noticed the woman, at which point she stopped in her tracks.
The woman saw her and her eyes instantly turned red. "Jiang Yuan..."
Jiang Yuan stared at her with a cold expression. "What are you doing here?"
The woman paused and lowered her head. "I... I wanted to see you."
Jiang Yuan narrowed her eyes. "Chu Yunhui, what do you want?"
Chu Yunhui pressed her lips together. "Jiang Yuan, can we talk properly?"
Jiang Yuan continued to stare at her, and after a moment, she walked over and sat down.
Chu Yunhui lowered her head, tears streaming down her face.

When I was fourteen, I met Jiang Yuan for the first time.
When she appeared in front of me, I was taken aback.

I was very scared.
I knew my dad didn't like her, and if he found out those people were coming to New Forest Town to see her, he would definitely hit her.

My dad hated her the most; if he found out about this, he would definitely kill her!
I wanted her to hide, but before I could say anything, the door was kicked open.
My dad stormed in angrily, heading straight for Jiang Yuan.
Jiang Yuan took a step back and looked at him warily. "What do you want?"
Dad sneered, "What do you want to do? Don't you know what you've done?"
Jiang Yuan narrowed her eyes, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Are you pretending to be stupid?" Dad shouted angrily, grabbing her wrist. "What’s the deal with those punks? Huh? You dare let them come to our house looking for you? I think you're itching for a beating!"
Jiang Yuan struggled, "Let go of me!"
"Let go of you?" Dad gritted his teeth. "I'll tell you, if I don't beat you to death today, then I'm not your father!"
Jiang Yuan glared at him fiercely, "Try touching me!"
"Let's see if I dare!" Dad said as he raised his hand to hit her.
I was terrified and rushed over, grabbing his arm, "Dad, don't hit her, please don’t..."
"Get away!" Dad pushed me aside.
I fell to the ground, wincing in pain.
Jiang Yuan quickly ran over to help me up, "Are you okay?"
I shook my head, "I'm fine."
Jiang Yuan looked at me with icy eyes, "Chu Hong, you can come at me, but if you touch her, I will kill you!"
Dad sneered, "Kill me? Then go ahead and try!"
Saying this, he grabbed Jiang Yuan by the collar and pushed her onto the bed.
Jiang Yuan struggled, but she was no match for Dad's strength.
As Dad's hand reached for her clothes, she suddenly pulled out a knife from under the pillow and slashed it toward Dad's arm.
Dad grunted in surprise and stepped back, staring at her in disbelief, "You dare use a knife?"
Jiang Yuan held the knife with its tip pointed at Dad and coldly said, "If you touch me again, I will kill you!"
Dad gritted his teeth, "Do you think I won't call the police?"
"Call the police?" Jiang Yuan laughed. "Sure, go ahead! If you call the police, they'll arrest you. Do you believe that?"
Dad paused and narrowed his eyes, "What do you mean by that?"
Jiang Yuan stared at him, "As a father, how can you do something like this? Tell me, how do you think the police will judge you?"
Dad's face turned pale as he glared at her, "You..."
Jiang Yuan pointed the knife at him and said firmly, "Get out!"
