After finishing breakfast, Shen Yulin gently accompanied me for a walk in the small garden. He softly wrapped his arm around my shoulders and asked, "Star, how about we go out on a date after you wake up from your afternoon nap?"
Hearing his suggestion, I turned to look at him, my eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Where are we going? To see a movie?" I tilted my head, waiting for his response.
Shen Yulin smiled and nodded in agreement. "If you want to see a movie, that’s perfectly fine! This afternoon, I’ll take you out so we can have a wonderful time together."
In the afternoon, when I woke up from my sweet dreams, I still felt a bit drowsy. I rubbed my eyes and sat on the edge of the bed, starting to think about what to wear today. Just then, Shen Yulin, lying beside me, reached out and gently played with the ends of my hair. I turned around and caught his gaze.
He was bare-chested, his strong physique radiating masculine charm. The blanket had slipped down to his waist, just covering the enticing view below. His well-defined six-pack abs and alluring V-line were clearly visible, and the tight muscle lines seemed sculpted to perfection, exuding an irresistible allure. Instantly, my cheeks flushed slightly, and my heart began to race uncontrollably; I dared not look any further down.
"What's wrong, babe?" he suddenly sat up and embraced me. His husky voice brushed against my ear as his lips lightly kissed the back of my neck. A shiver ran through me, and I leaned against him weakly. Seemingly aware of my reaction, Shen Yulin smirked mischievously as he caressed my chest over my clothes. "Baby, is that okay?"
I blushed deeply and pushed him away gently. "Don't do that; I'm pregnant."
Shen Yulin's hand softly rested on my slightly rounded belly, the desire in his eyes gradually fading as he kissed my cheek. "Get up and change your clothes; I'll take you out." With that, he got up and put on a robe before heading back to his room to change.
I opened the wardrobe and casually slipped on a simple yet elegant V-neck pleated long dress. The soft and smooth fabric brushed against my skin, bringing a coolness and comfort. As I moved, the skirt swayed with the wind like a graceful fairy dancing lightly. Each step carried a slight sway that revealed an indescribable gentleness and liveliness. This dress was both romantic and easy to move in; even if I needed to quicken my pace, it allowed me to maintain an elegant demeanor.
When I walked down the stairs, Shen Yulin was already dressed neatly at the entrance waiting for me. To my surprise, we had both chosen outfits in matching colors! To outsiders, we looked like we were wearing couple outfits; this coincidence filled me with sweetness. He held my hand affectionately and looked at the two people sitting on the sofa with gloomy expressions. "Big Brother, Sister-in-law, we're heading out!"
"Watch out for Xiao Fan," Uncle couldn't help but scold.
Seeing Aunt's displeased expression, I quickly said, "Auntie, don't worry. I'll be careful." Before Aunt could respond, Shen Yulin pulled me out of the house.
Since it was Sunday, the mall was crowded with people. Before the movie started, we browsed around on the first floor while Shen Yulin kept his arm around me carefully avoiding the bustling crowd. Suddenly, I spotted a maternity store. Following my gaze, Shen Yulin lowered his head and softly said, "Shall we go in?" I nodded.
Inside the store, various styles of maternity clothes were neatly displayed on shelves—from loose dresses to comfortable pants—everything one could need was available. The sales associate warmly approached us. "What can I help you with? We provide professional styling advice for pregnant women based on different stages of pregnancy and personal needs to help them choose the most suitable clothing. We also have specially designed dresses for special occasions so that expectant mothers can shine during important moments. Additionally, we thoughtfully prepared maternity products and accessories such as maternity underwear and belly bands to provide comprehensive care for women during pregnancy."
