After a while, the meal was ready, and everyone gathered around to eat and chat, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere. After finishing the meal, we took a walk in the yard, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Shen Yulin held my hand as we followed Grandpa to visit his vegetable garden, where he introduced us to various vegetables and their growth processes. We listened with great interest and even experienced the joy of picking vegetables ourselves.
Grandpa and Grandma had given us so many vegetables that they piled up like a small mountain when unloaded from the car. Even with the three of us working together, it took quite a long time to organize everything properly.
"Aunt Zhao, could you please set these bags aside? Tomorrow I plan to send some over to my older brother and father-in-law," Shen Yulin said softly after washing his hands and taking the child from Aunt Zhao. His eyes were filled with tenderness and care. "Sure! I really miss my aunt! Since that's the case, let's make it happen! Tomorrow we will visit her together. But before that, I need to take a shower; otherwise, Tang Tang might start crying for food again." As soon as he finished speaking, I turned without hesitation and walked toward the room.
The air in the mountains was fresh and pleasant. For someone like me who hadn't exercised in a long time, walking so many mountain paths over the past two days was quite a challenge. At this moment, my legs felt sore and weak, as if being pulled by an invisible force. Dragging my tired body, I retrieved my prepared pajamas and slowly walked into the bathroom. When I fully submerged myself in the warm bathtub, an indescribable sense of comfort spread throughout my body. The water gently embraced me, as if soothing my fatigue.
I gently twisted open the cap of the rose essence bottle, letting its enchanting fragrance fill the air. Closing my eyes, I immersed myself in this wonderful atmosphere, savoring every bit of its aroma. Meanwhile, I put on my headphones to block out the noise from outside, enjoying this rare tranquility as my thoughts drifted away with the music, gradually distancing themselves from exhaustion.
Just then, the water in the bathtub suddenly began to swirl as if stirred by an invisible force. I slowly opened my eyes in surprise to see Shen Yulin sitting naked in the bathtub with me. The already narrow tub was quickly overflowing with water, and I shyly covered my body with my hands while looking at him and softly asking, "How did you get in here? Where's the child?"
Shen Yulin smiled and replied, "Aunt Zhao is taking care of the child in the garden; I wanted to come keep you company. I heard your legs have been bothering you these past couple of days; after you finish your bath, I can help massage them." With that, he gently embraced me and began to massage my calves.
As his fingers kneaded and pushed against my legs, a wave of intense tingling sensation quickly spread throughout my body, causing me to involuntarily let out a soft moan. This feeling was both comfortable and intoxicating, making me almost forget all my fatigue.
I heard Shen Yulin's deep yet gentle voice beside me: "Honey, how about I take you to see our wedding house tomorrow? I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas on how to decorate it." I felt as if I were immersed in a warm ocean; my body relaxed to the point of nearly falling asleep. In a daze, I heard his words and instinctively responded softly before drifting into a deep sleep, curled up like a quiet little cat in his embrace.
