The judge looked at the Defendant's Stand and said, "Your actions have violated the law and caused serious mental and physical harm to the Plaintiff." My husband's face turned pale, his eyes filled with fear and unease. "Therefore, this court rules as follows:" The judge's voice became more resolute, "The Defendant is sentenced to five years in prison for bigamy and illegal detention." A murmur spread through the courtroom, and I felt an unprecedented sense of relief. My husband's lawyer attempted to appeal, but the judge had already made a final decision. 0

"As for the Plaintiff," the judge turned to me, "this court believes that she deserves appropriate compensation for all the injustices she has suffered." I felt tears welling up in my eyes, but I struggled to control my emotions. "The Plaintiff will receive one million in damages for mental anguish, as well as compensation for related medical expenses." My husband's face grew even darker; he seemed unable to accept this outcome. 0

"Additionally," the judge continued, "the abuse suffered by the Plaintiff during her time in the psychiatric hospital will be legally addressed by the responsible parties." "The trial is concluded." The judge struck the Gavel, announcing the final verdict. 0

"Hey... wake up... hey..." I suddenly opened my eyes to find myself lying in a strange room. There was no courtroom, no judge, and no lawyer. I sat up and looked around, realizing I was in a single patient room. The white walls and white sheets made everything seem so monotonous and cold. 0

"You’re awake," a nurse's voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned my head to see a nurse in a white uniform standing at the door. "Where am I?" My voice carried a hint of confusion. "In a psychiatric hospital," the nurse replied calmly and indifferently. 0

I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me. The courtroom debates, the evidence collection, the judge's verdict—was it all just a dream? 0

"Where is Aunt Li?" 0

My voice trembled slightly. 0

"The patient who was with me, where is she?" 0

The nurse frowned. 0

"There is no one here by the name of Aunt Li. You've been in a single room; there are no other patients." 0

Panic surged within me. Had I been deceiving myself all along? Had I never left this mental hospital? 0

"But I went to court, I exposed the truth, I won the trial." 0

Despair tinged my voice. 0

The nurse shook her head. 0

"That was just your imagination. You have never left here, and your husband has not been sentenced." 0

I felt a wave of helplessness wash over me, tears welling up in my eyes. 0

Had all my efforts, all my hopes, been in vain? 0

"But my memories..." 0

I tried to argue, but my voice grew fainter. 0

The nurse spoke with a hint of sympathy. 0

"You need to accept treatment and face reality." 0

I lowered my head, filled with confusion and despair. 0

Were my memories and my freedom merely a dream? 0

"Here, take your medication." 0

The nurse handed me some pills. 0

"This will help stabilize your emotions." 0

I took the pills, my mind swirling with doubt. 0

Have I really never left this place? Was it just a dream? 0
I swallowed the pills, closed my eyes, and my heart was filled with uncertainty about the future. 0
Perhaps I need more time to accept this reality and face my life ahead. 0
