She hurriedly got up.
She saw the man clutching his groin, curled up on the ground in pain.
She was stunned.
She turned to look at the doorway.
I saw her.
She was wearing a white chiffon blouse and light blue jeans, looking pure and clean.
She slowly walked over.
The man glared at her fiercely, "You bitch, how dare you kick me!"
She remained silent and kicked him again.
The man let out a scream and fainted.
She turned and walked outside.
Yulia snapped back to reality and chased after her, "Wait for me!"
She stopped and glanced at her, "Are you okay?"
Yulia nodded, "I'm fine..."
She paused, "Thank you... thank you."
"You're welcome," she replied lightly.
"You..." Yulia hesitated to ask, "Are you Shirley?"
She nodded, "Yes."
Yulia looked at her and thought, so you are Shirley.
She thought, you are really beautiful.
She thought, no wonder Charles likes you.
She thought, I'm not as good as you.
She lowered her head, feeling ashamed and inferior.
Shirley didn't say anything and walked ahead.
Yulia silently followed her.
They reached the bar counter.
Shirley sat down and asked Yulia, "What would you like to drink?"
Yulia shook her head, "I don't drink alcohol."
Shirley thought for a moment, "Florida?"
Yulia paused, "That's...?"
"It's juice," Shirley explained.
"...Okay." Yulia sat down.
The bartender prepared two glasses of Florida.
They clinked their glasses together.
Yulia took a sip; it was pleasantly sweet and sour, refreshing in taste.
"It's really good," she said.
Shirley smiled slightly.
Yulia looked at her and thought, you look so beautiful when you smile.
She thought, why are you so good-looking?
She thought, why aren't you a man?
She thought, if you were a man, that would be wonderful.
They silently drank their drinks.
Shirley finished first.
She looked at Yulia, "You shouldn't be here."
Yulia lowered her gaze, "I know."
"Is there something you need to talk about?" she asked.
Yulia hesitated for a moment, "Can I talk to you alone?"
She stared at Yulia for a moment before nodding, "Come with me."
They went to an empty room.
Shirley closed the door.
"What do you want to say?" she asked.
Yulia gazed at her, "I've been with Charles for one year and eight months."
Shirley listened quietly.
"He is great," Yulia said with a bitter smile. "He is really great."
Shirley remained silent.
"But he doesn't love me," Yulia said sadly. "He has never loved me."
Shirley looked at her, her gaze calm.
"He knows I came to find you," Yulia continued. "He asked me to tell you—"
"What did he say?" Shirley asked.
"He said, don't think about trying to seduce him," Yulia replied.
Shirley smirked, "Do you believe that?"
Yulia shook her head, "I don't believe it."
"Then..." Shirley asked softly, "Are you jealous of me?"
Yulia paused for a moment and lowered her head.
She was silent for a long time before raising her head. "I'm sorry."
Shirley smiled, "Why are you saying sorry?"
"I..." Yulia said with difficulty, "I'm jealous of you."
Shirley stared at her, "Why?"
"Because..." Yulia bit her lip, "because Charles likes you."
Shirley's lips curved slightly, "You like him, so you're jealous of me."
Yulia lowered her head in shame, "I'm sorry."
"No need to apologize," Shirley said gently.
Yulia looked at her in surprise.
"You don't need to apologize," Shirley said softly.
Yulia stared at her blankly.
She thought, you are so beautiful.
She thought, why aren't you a man?
She thought, how wonderful it would be if you were a man.
"I like you," Yulia murmured.
Shirley was taken aback for a moment and then smiled, "Thank you."
"I really like you," Yulia said eagerly. "I shouldn't be jealous of you, I..."
"You don't need to explain," Shirley gently interrupted her.
Yulia looked at her. "Aren't you angry?"
Shirley replied, "Why would I be angry?"
Yulia lowered her head. "I misunderstood you."
"What did you misunderstand?" Shirley asked.
"I..." Yulia hesitated, "I thought... you were a seductress."
Shirley blinked. "You think I was trying to seduce Charles?"
Yulia felt ashamed. "I'm sorry..."
Shirley shook her head. "It's okay."
Yulia looked up at Shirley. "You're really not angry?"
Shirley smiled. "I'm really not angry."
Yulia breathed a sigh of relief. "That's great."
They fell into silence.
Shirley stood up. "I'll take you back."
"No," Yulia hurriedly refused. "I don't want to go back."
Shirley looked at her in confusion.
"I..." Yulia stammered, "I have nowhere to go."
Shirley stared at her for a moment and then sat back down. "Then stay here."
Yulia's eyes lit up. "Really?"
Shirley nodded. "Really."
Yulia was extremely happy. "Thank you!"
Shirley smiled. "I'll go tidy up the room."
Yulia nodded. "Okay!"
Shirley went out.
Yulia's face flushed with excitement.
She thought, I can finally be with her.
She thought, I will make her fall in love with me.
Shirley quickly returned.
They lay on the bed.
Shirley turned off the light.
In the darkness, Yulia quietly moved closer to Shirley.
She tentatively hugged Shirley.
Shirley did not resist.
Yulia was overjoyed.
She tightened her arms, holding Shirley even closer.
Shirley still did not resist.
She thought, she has accepted me.
She thought, she really has accepted me.
The more she thought about it, the more excited she became, unable to resist kissing Shirley once.
Shirley shivered slightly.
She thought, she responded to me.
She thought, she really responded to me.
The happier she felt, the more she kissed Shirley again.
Shirley did not shiver anymore.
She thought, she has gotten used to it.
She thought, she really has gotten used to it.
She gently, tenderly, and carefully kissed Shirley.
Shirley closed her eyes, enjoying her affection.
She thought, she is so good.
She thought, she is truly wonderful.
