"Could it be General Jiang's orders?" Xu Yicheng spoke first while running, although he also thought it was unlikely. 0

"Absolutely not," Jiao An firmly denied this idea in the team channel. "When General Wang Yangchen was still alive, I had dealings with General Jiang. He has always treated his soldiers like his own children and would never do something so heartless." 0

An Xiaotian raised his arm and started timing on his watch. 0

"Fifteen minutes, can we evacuate?" Liu Xuan leaned closer to An Xiaotian. 0

An Xiaotian turned to look at him, his eyes filled with worry. 0

"I..." An Xiaotian lowered his head and kicked a zombie's head aside. 0

"I'm glad to have met you, Xuan," An Xiaotian replied off-topic, extending his hand to Liu Xuan. "And you too, Nars." 0

Liu Xuan's left eye turned a gentle moonlight color. He understood An Xiaotian's meaning, and a feeling of life reaching its end but unable to let go washed over him. 0

He forced a smile and took An Xiaotian's hand. 0

"Don't say that. Fifteen minutes is just the beginning. If we really have to die here... then let's complete the mission perfectly, okay?" Liu Xuan said. 0

Their hands tightened their grip. 0

"From childhood until now, when have I not been there to help you complete everything?" An Xiaotian retorted, as his helmet began to assemble, hiding the tears that were about to fall from his eyes. 0

He had never let Liu Xuan see him cry, and this time would be no different. 0

"I'll accompany you until the end," An Xiaotian said. 0

Liu Xuan knew An Xiaotian was crying. He released his grip on An Xiaotian's hand and extended his fist. An Xiaotian understood, and they instinctively performed the gesture they used every time before entering an exam—fist bump. 0

Aibo remained silent, looking quiet like a statue. 0

Watching these two brothers exchange words before death, familiar phrases pulled Aibo into a whirlpool of memories without any defenses. In the long yet short span of hundreds of thousands of years, he was the most unique Stone Giant. 0

Because only he had watched as his kin left one by one, tragically dying under Ban Sa's giant axe. 0

How he wished he could say goodbye like that with his brothers; at least there would be no regrets before closing his eyes. 0

Yet fate burdened him with this regret, fighting for a world that might not have room for him. 0

"Captain, I have a situation here." 0

An Xiaotian, Liu Xuan, and Aibo simultaneously turned their heads toward the distant double-decker bus. 0

The bus had been blown into the nearby dumpling restaurant by the shockwave; its rear was stuck inside while the right tire was wedged into the damaged cash register beside it. 0

Starting this bus was no problem for a physics PhD; the key issue was that Xu Yicheng didn't have the ability to free the stuck tire. 0

Moreover, what Xu Yicheng said was not just a matter of circumstance. 0

In the distance, the zombies that had just been blown away were getting back up one after another, gathering again under the streetlight dusted with snow, some limping, some twisting their necks, and some missing limbs. It was clear that the shockwave had left them somewhat disoriented. 0

"Sasa, help me push the car," Xu Yicheng quickly rolled down the window and shouted to Lu Sha, who was watching the zombie horde in the distance. 0

Lu Sha possessed extraordinary strength, and Xu Yicheng believed she could do it. 0

"But what if..." Lu Sha pointed towards the Zombie Horde. 0

Xu Yicheng understood her concern; if Lu Sha went to push the car and the zombies charged again, his life would be in danger. 0

"Don't worry about me, just go!" Xu Yicheng pointed to the back of the car. "It should be fine as long as you hold on to Time." 0

Lu Sha could only nod, casting one last anxious glance at the Zombie Horde before turning to run towards the back of the car. 0

"It's time to reassign tasks, Captain," Nars reminded An Xiaotian. 0

An Xiaotian looked at Miao Chengmin and Virgil still grappling in the sky and began issuing orders in the squad channel: "Lu Sha, Aibo, cover Dr. Xu while he drives to support until we rendezvous with Sister Jiao An and the others." 0

"Understood—" 0

While gritting her teeth and straining to lift the bus's wheel, Lu Sha responded to An Xiaotian. The muscles in her arms felt like they were about to burst. 0

Just when she felt she could no longer exert any more strength, the gravel beneath her shook with Aibo's footsteps. She looked up and saw Aibo already extending his hands to support the bus's chassis and gently lifting it. 0

Seeing that the bus she had barely managed to lift was now raised two meters high by Aibo with ease, Lu Sha could only pout and lift a tire, moving the bus away from the checkout counter. 0

"Nice job, team!" Xu Yicheng said as soon as they set down the bus and immediately started the ignition. 0

" Sister Jiao An, Weishan, take the refugees directly to the nearest evacuation point as quickly as possible! Also, send your shared coordinates for easier navigation." 0

"Received." Jiao An immediately activated the shared coordinates in her visor and sent them to Xu Yicheng's holographic display. 0

"Alright, everyone!" Qin Weishan moved away from the wall and said, "I need you all to run right now! Immediately, run!" 0

However, none of the refugees dared to move; they huddled in corners shivering—there were zombies outside; where could they run? 0

At that moment, Liang Muqi clapped his hands and stepped forward saying, "This place has already been exposed; the Zombie Horde will surround us soon. If you don't leave now, even gods can't save you." 0

The crowd gasped in alarm and scrambled to their feet, rushing towards Liang Muqi. 0

Jiao An and Qin Weishan were momentarily stunned—how did he manage to rally them like that? 0

"Everyone follow me, I promise to get you safely out in the next ten minutes," Liang Muqi said, turning around and kicking open the makeshift entrance barrier set up by the refugees. 0

"Weishan, sometimes you have to learn about human relationships," Liang Muqi said without looking back, leading the way into the snowy night outside the garage. 0

Watching the refugees rush past them, Jiao An and Qin Weishan didn't even know who was there to save them. Perhaps it was indeed Liang Muqi who saved them, which is why the refugees trusted him so much. 0

Ming Juan stood behind the two, feeling lost. 0

"We'll go to the refugee's flank, you take the left and I'll take the right," Jiao An said to Qin Weishan. After saying that, he pushed Ming Juan forward, shoving her into the back of the refugee line. 0

At the center of the battlefield, in the shared coordinate map of their squad, Jiao An's group of refugees began moving towards the nearest evacuation point in the northeast, while Xu Yicheng's vehicle quickly approached them. 0

"What about us?" Nars asked. 0

"You said it yourself, after dealing with the zombies, we'll go help him," An Xiaotian pointed to the sky, his finger tracing down from where Virgil had been punched down to a residential area. 0

"Wow! If I really drove like this on the road, I don't know how many death sentences I'd get!" Xu Yicheng shouted excitedly as he swerved the steering wheel violently after knocking a zombie away. 0

The bus had already sped up to nearly eighty miles per hour on these city roads, but Aibo and Lu Sha were still sprinting alongside it, clearing out zombies attacking from both sides to pave a path for Xu Yicheng. 0

"Not bad, you two!" Xu Yicheng genuinely admired the physical prowess of those with super abilities. 0

"Not just not bad!" Lu Sha replied without even catching her breath. Suddenly, she leaped up and kicked off from the speeding bus, using her Chain Spear to hook onto a nearby streetlight. She swung around and landed half-kneeling on the ground. 0

Lu Sha was not one to flee at a critical moment; she raised her head to face the Zombie Horde charging behind the bus. 0

"Big cutie, make sure to get Dr. Xu there safely," Lu Sha straightened up, unlocking her Chain Spear on her wrists and dragging it along the ground. 0

Aibo looked back at Lu Sha's solitary figure and paused for a moment before ultimately turning back to catch up with the bus. 0

"This tree I planted, this road I opened." Lu Sha raised her fists holding the dragging Chain Spear. 0

The Zombie Horde didn’t stop to listen to her chatter; they continued charging forward. 0

"If you want to pass this road..." 0

Madwoman's facial armor immediately merged together! 0

"Better not think about it." 0

"Drink!" 0

With a furious shout, the Madwoman swung her chains in a cross slash, carving a path through the Zombie Horde. 0
"Can you handle this alone, little sister?" 0
The Madwoman looked up as the Spirit Corps descended from the rooftops above, blocking her way and immediately launching an attack! 0
"Killing zombies without calling us? Your captain really isn't being fair," George said, turning back and punching the Madwoman on the shoulder. 0
"Uh..." 0
The Madwoman awkwardly lowered her left hand and, taking advantage of George's distraction, dashed into the battlefield, patting her right hand on her left shoulder. 0
She certainly didn't want to be touched by another zombie again, even if it was a Spirit Corps member. 0
The Madwoman leaped into the air, disappearing into the Corpse Sea. 0

On a snowy night, after hundreds of exchanges, he finally seized the opportunity to knock the Zombie Queen to the ground. Just as he was about to deal with the Zombie King, he suddenly felt a wave of dizziness and lost all strength. He clutched his head and reluctantly landed on the rooftop of a nearby building. 0
"Damn it..." 0
He extended his hand, looking at his burned palm with worry. 0
"Even though Chaos Crystals are within me, they have been limiting my use of their power..." 0
Miao Chengmin knew that the Chaos Crystals were also looking out for him; given his frail body, it was already a miracle that he could withstand the energy of the Chaos Crystals and hold on until now. To finish off Virgil, he needed to have at least three percent more chaotic energy than Virgil had within him. 0
However, so far, the Chaos Crystals had only provided Miao Chengmin with about six percent of their energy, putting him on par with Virgil. Most of what the Chaos Crystals did was continuously repair Miao Chengmin's body and limbs that had been damaged in various ways. 0
"But..." Miao Chengmin suddenly thought of something. 0
"The reason I've been able to fight this long is thanks to the recovery from the Chaos Crystals. Similarly, she must be using her own meager thirteen percent of chaotic energy to sustain herself." 0
Miao Chengmin shook his head and forced himself to stand despite feeling nauseous, gazing at the shimmering lights in that nearby community. 0
"But I have one fatal difference from her..." 0
Miao Chengmin clenched his fists as Black Lightning ignited once more around them. 0
"Virgil can only rely on his limited internal energy to sustain himself, while I have endless resources!" 0
"Just wait; you'll have plenty of time to reflect in the demon realm." 0
With that, a bolt of lightning surged forth, blasting tiles off the rooftop as Zombie King Miao Chengmin dove once again toward Zombie Queen... 0
