The next day, Lin Wan woke up. She looked at Chen Wu beside her, her gaze gentle. She lay in his arms, watching him, feeling sweet inside. Chen Wu was sleeping soundly and slowly opened his eyes as he sensed her gaze. He looked at her, his voice hoarse from just waking up, "What are you looking at?"
"I like you," Lin Wan said.
Chen Wu smiled and tightened his embrace around her, "I like you too." Lin Wan closed her eyes, feeling sweet inside.
On the way home, Lin Wan sat in the car, silent. Chen Wu glanced at her and asked with a smile, "What's wrong?"
Lin Wan pursed her lips and remained silent. Chen Wu chuckled and didn't say anything further.
When they got home, Lin Wan's parents were watching TV. Upon seeing Lin Wan return, they exchanged a glance but didn't say anything. Lin Wan sat beside them and handed over her phone, "Dad, Mom, look, this is the new furniture I bought."
"Oh, that's nice," Lin Mother exclaimed in surprise, "This sofa looks great."
"Isn't it pretty?" Lin Wan smiled, "It's my favorite off-white color."
"Yes, it looks good," Lin Father nodded in agreement.
After chatting with her parents for a while, Lin Wan's phone vibrated. She picked it up to see a WeChat message from Zhou Wen.
Zhou Wen: [Did you sleep with him?]
Lin Wan was taken aback, her cheeks flushing.
She typed: "No."
Zhou Wen: "Why not?"
Lin Wan: "..."
Zhou Wen: "I'm telling you, men need to be satisfied before marriage; otherwise, if he leaves, you won't even have a place to cry."
Lin Wan: "..."
Zhou Wen: "I'm serious, don't take it lightly."
Lin Wan: "I know."
Zhou Wen: "You don't know anything; you're just brushing me off."
Lin Wan sighed, thinking about how to respond to her when her phone vibrated again.
This time it was a WeChat message from Chen Wu: "Go to bed early."
Lin Wan felt sweet inside.

He was holding fruits and fish.
Lin Father and Lin Mother immediately smiled upon seeing him.

Lin Wan looked at him, feeling complicated emotions.
Chen Wu handed the fruits and fish to Lin Mother, then sat down next to Lin Father to chat with him.
Lin Father looked at him and asked, "Is the car dealership busy lately?"

Lin Wan sat nearby, listening to their conversation while occasionally glancing at Chen Wu.

Lin Mother watched them, smiled lightly, and got up to head to the kitchen: "I'll go make dinner first."
"I'll help you," Lin Wan stood up and followed her.
