He reached out and embraced me. His body heat seeped through my clothes, causing me to stiffen for a moment. His lips gently kissed my forehead. My breathing became rapid. 0

"Relax," he whispered in my ear. 0

"Mm," I responded, trying hard to calm myself down. His kiss slowly moved down to my nose. My breathing quickened even more. His lips softly captured mine. My mind went blank, feeling as if I were floating in the air. His tongue slipped into my mouth, intertwining with mine. My body trembled. 0

His hand roamed over me, igniting a flame within. That night, we lingered in bed for a long time. It was a feeling I had never experienced before. 0

When I woke up the next day, I felt sore all over, unable to muster any strength. I opened my eyes and saw that he was still holding me. His arm was draped over my waist, making it impossible for me to move. 0

"Don't disturb me; let me sleep a little longer," he murmured. 0

"Mm," I replied without moving, allowing him to continue sleeping. 0

I recalled what happened last night, and a sweet feeling surged in my heart. I had finally become his wife. I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. When I woke up again, he was no longer in bed. 0

I got dressed and went downstairs, where I saw him making breakfast in the kitchen. 0
"Good morning," he said with a smile. 0
"Good morning," I replied. 0
We sat at the dining table to have breakfast. 0
"Xiao Yuan, I think we should hold off on having kids for now," he suddenly said. 0
"Oh," I responded. 0
"We just got married; we should enjoy our time as a couple," he continued. 0
"Yeah, I feel the same way," I nodded. 0
"Then it's settled," he smiled. 0
"Mm-hmm," I replied. 0
After finishing breakfast, we went to work. 0
When I returned to school, my classmates gathered around me, asking how it felt to be married. 0
"It's great," I smiled. 0
"Teacher, are you happy?" a female classmate asked. 0
"Of course, I'm very happy," I smiled back. 0
"That's good to hear," the classmate said with a smile. 0
In the evening, I had dinner with my best friend Zhou Wen. 0
She was very interested in my marriage and kept asking me for details. 0
Although I felt a bit shy, I still shared with her. 0
"Wow, that sounds so romantic!" she said enviously. 0
"Don't tease me," I laughed. 0
"I'm serious," she looked at me earnestly, "I think you two will be very happy." 0
"Yeah, I think so too," I smiled. 0

Two months into marriage, I've gained a new understanding of it. My relationship with Chen Wu seems to have entered a routine phase; we eat together and sleep together every day, but there isn't much extra communication beyond that. 0

Neither of us is particularly good at expressing love; we maintain our daily connection more like meal buddies. However, Chen Wu gradually began to consciously inform me of his plans. This puzzled me. When did I become his itinerary memo? 0

Today, I was busy at school all day, with two classes in the afternoon and then grading weekly journals, which was quite a heavy workload. After the lunch break, I sent a message to Chen Wu. 0

"If you're busy, you don't have to wait for me to eat." 0

"I'll pick you up," Chen Wu replied. 0

"You don't have to come over specially; I can go home by myself." 0

"Okay." 0

In the evening, I arranged to have dinner with Chen Wu, Song Mei, and Zhou Wen to welcome Song Mei back. Song Mei and Chen Wu are members of the school basketball team and have a good relationship. 0

At the dinner table, Song Mei raised his glass to toast us. "Come on, newlyweds, I toast you both!" he said with a smile. 0

"Thank you," Chen Wu and I said as we raised our glasses and clinked them with his. 0

"I'm really envious of you two; after so many years, you've finally come together," Zhou Wen remarked. 0

"Yeah, I didn't expect it either," I replied with a sense of nostalgia. 0

"This is what they call fate bringing people together from afar!" Song Mei laughed. 0

"Exactly!" Zhou Wen chimed in with a smile. 0

"Don't tease us," I laughed. 0

"We wouldn't dare," Song Mei chuckled. "Come on, let's drink another round!" 0

"Sure," Chen Wu and I clinked glasses with him again. 0

The meal was very enjoyable. Zhou Wen and I reminisced about our high school days, feeling nostalgic about the beauty of youth. 0
