The fire quickly blazed up, raging fiercely with thick smoke billowing everywhere. The entire Cruise Ship was in chaos, filled with screams and cries echoing throughout. The crowd rushed to escape the cabin, but all the exits were blocked, preventing anyone from getting out.
In desperation, some jumped into the sea, but the nearby oil tanks exploded, and the water temperature was scalding hot. Those who jumped into the water were severely burned, creating a horrific scene. The Cruise Ship had turned into a hell on earth, permeated with the scent of death.
Xiao Zhang and I ran around the deck like headless flies, searching for shelter. If we didn't find a safe place soon, we would be engulfed by the flames and become charred corpses.
"I know a place where we can hide; come with us!" Xiao Ma approached, pushing an old man in a wheelchair.

Xiao Zhang and I joined their group as we searched for a safe room. With six hands working together, we finally pulled down a hatch on the deck.
The safe room popped out immediately. It was more of a large space that could fit two people. We worked together to lift Xiao Ma and the old man in the wheelchair inside.
The safe room was supported by a mechanical arm and slowly rose up.
"We're safe for now!" Xiao Ma sighed in relief.
Xiao Zhang, Xiao Ma, the old man in the wheelchair, and I had temporarily escaped disaster. The old man kept staring outside, mumbling in confusion, "Why is it different?"
My heart sank. It turned out that this safe room had also been modified by Yang Rui.

"Then why is he pretending to be disabled?"
"This is a long story. The old man is a well-known designer. A year ago, he was in a car accident while traveling with wealthy friends and became disabled himself. But we..." Xiao Ma lowered his head and fell silent.
"Then why did he only bring you to the Cruise Ship this year?"
"We have some unspeakable connections among the three of us, so..."
I turned to the old designer. At that moment, he was shaking his wheelchair, spinning around in the safe house. He was checking everywhere, looking anxious and overwhelmed. "Something's wrong here, and there too. Where did it all go wrong?" "It seems we need to uncover the secret of this diary!" I opened the diary. "Give it to me!" the psychologist took it from me. After some handling, a letter fell out from the diary's compartment.
