In the early morning, after receiving a phone call, I finally found out where Zhou Qi was.
In the villa in the south of the city.
The bodyguards lowered their heads and dared not speak when they saw me arrive.
I went straight up to the second floor and pushed open a door.
Behind the door, men and women were mixed together, and the scene was extremely disgraceful.
My arrival instantly froze the lively atmosphere.
Everyone stopped what they were doing, except for Zhou Qi, who continued to swirl his drink in the glass.
"Come out," I said coldly.
Zhou Qi acted as if he didn't hear me.
I walked up to him, snatched the glass from his hand, and slammed it down on the table.
"I told you to come out."
Zhou Qi slowly raised his head, his gaze sweeping over everyone: "You all leave first."
Soon, only the two of us were left in the room.
Zhou Qi stood up and brushed past me: "Why should I listen to you?"
I grabbed his arm: "Zhou Qi, stop messing around and come back with me."
He violently shook off my hand: "I'll say it again, what right do you have to control me?"
I took a deep breath: "Because I am your elder."
"Hmph." Zhou Qi scoffed, "Just because you're my elder means you can encourage your husband to send me to prison?"
"That matter is in the past."
"In the past?" Zhou Qi turned around, glaring at me fiercely, "Do you know that it was your husband who sent me to prison when I was at my most helpless?"
"Do you know how I survived those three years?"
I paused for a moment before speaking, "Zhou Qi, are you doing all this to get back at your brother, or to hurt yourself?"
"If you want to get back at your brother, come home with me. If you want to hurt yourself..."
"What I do has nothing to do with you," Zhou Qi interrupted me impatiently. "If you're trying to move me with family ties, save your breath."
"My brother is never coming back."
I slowly closed my eyes, and when I opened them again, there was clarity in my gaze.
"I know what you want—your brother's life."
Zhou Qi's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at me.
I sighed softly, "If you come back with me, I'll talk to your brother."
Zhou Qi stared at me for a long time before suddenly laughing. "Why would I go back? Here, I have endless money and women. What would I go back for?"
"If you want me to go back, that's fine," Zhou Qi suddenly leaned closer and lowered his voice. "You sleep with me once, and I'll go back."
I frowned slightly. "Zhou Qi, we're relatives."
"So what?" Zhou Qi said as he opened the door to the lounge.
The room was dark, without any lights on.
I followed the direction of the sound and could vaguely see a shadow.
"Zhou Qi, stop messing around."
"I'm not messing around," Zhou Qi replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Don't you want me to go back? I'm giving you the opportunity."
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my emotions. "Zhou Qi, if you really want this, don't blame me for being rude."
"Rude?" Zhou Qi scoffed. "What can you do to me? Send me to jail?"
"Go ahead and try."
As soon as I finished speaking, Zhou Qi suddenly stood up and walked toward me.
He moved slowly, his leather shoes making crisp sounds against the floor.
In no time, he was standing right in front of me.
I looked up and could only see his sharply defined jawline.
Zhou Qi leaned slightly closer, his lips brushing against my ear. "You know, I love seeing you angry the most."
"You..." I opened my mouth, about to say something, when I suddenly felt a warm breath against my neck.
