Xu Jing remained silent. She bit her lip and said to Zhou Qi, " Manager Zhou, I'm just an ordinary interior designer; I’m afraid I can't take on such an important project..."
"Miss Xu is being too modest," Zhou Qi interrupted her as he set down his coffee cup. "I have a deep appreciation for your skills."

Zhou Qi slowly lifted his eyelids. "What? Are you unhappy to see me?"

"But I am," Zhou Qi smiled slightly. "Since you refuse to return to Min City, I had no choice but to come to Yun City."
Xu Jing was taken aback. "You..."
Zhou Qi stood up and adjusted his suit. "Xu Jing, we will meet again soon."
With that, he walked past her, leaving behind a faint scent of tobacco.
Xu Jing's heart inexplicably raced.
She stared at Zhou Qi's receding figure, a sense of ominous premonition rising in her heart.
