Zhou Qi pressed Xu Jing against the sofa, their bodies tightly pressed together. Zhou Qi's breath was heavy and hot, while Xu Jing appeared somewhat passive, her hands futilely gripping the sofa, her brows furrowed as if trying to adapt to his closeness. Zhou Qi's kiss was eager and deep, as if he wanted to swallow her whole. His hands roamed over her body, exploring every sensitive spot.
Xu Jing's body tensed slightly, but she still made an effort to respond to him. Of course, she was only responding on the surface; inside, she was calculating how to escape his control. Zhou Qi's desire grew stronger as he picked Xu Jing up and headed toward the bathroom. "I'll run some water for a shower first..."
Xu Jing pushed him into the shower and turned on the cold water. Cold water poured down over both of them. Before Zhou Qi could react, Xu Jing had already captured his lips with hers. Zhou Qi knew what she was planning, but he still couldn't resist her temptation. He let her kiss him while one hand wandered over her body.
They stood in the shower, and under the cascade of cold water, they began to get intimate. The steam in the bathroom thickened, and the sound of water mixed with their voices echoed around them. Xu Jing's moans grew louder, and Zhou Qi's breathing became heavier. Xu Jing felt as if her body was no longer her own; she thought he would tire out like the previous three times and then it would end.
But Zhou Qi's stamina was far better than she had imagined. She felt as if she were submerged in water, even breathing became difficult. As her consciousness blurred, she heard Zhou Qi whispering in her ear, "Looks like we need to strengthen your physical fitness in the future."
Xu Jing was unfazed by being exposed; she closed her eyes and calmly replied, "I thought you would be the third man to die at my hands."
"Oh?" Zhou Qi raised an eyebrow. "You've done that before?"
Xu Jing replied calmly, "The first time I killed that old man was because he tried to assault me. When I fought back, I accidentally killed him."
"The second time I killed that beast was out of hatred. I hated him for taking my virginity, and I hated him for making me contract that disease."
"The third time I killed that man was because I wanted to survive."
Zhou Qi stared into her eyes. "Do you think you can kill me?"
Xu Jing looked at him. "I thought I could."
Zhou Qi chuckled lightly. "You were wrong."
Xu Jing closed her eyes. "Yes, I was wrong."
Zhou Qi leaned down and kissed her lips.
Xu Jing wrapped her arms around his neck, responding to his kiss. Their breaths intertwined as if they were trying to merge into each other's bodies.
Xu Jing thought she would die here.
But she didn't die.
Zhou Qi laid her down on the bed, and they continued to kiss. The light from the bedside lamp was dim and warm, casting shadows on Zhou Qi's face, accentuating his handsome features.
Xu Jing looked at him and slowly closed her eyes.
Xu Jing woke up in the dark. She moved her arm but touched a warm body instead.
She turned her head and saw Zhou Qi lying beside her, his arm draped over her waist, holding her tightly in his embrace. His breathing was heavy; he had fallen asleep.
Xu Jing opened her eyes wide, gazing at the familiar face before her.
She had slept with him again.
However, she did not want to sleep with him at all.
She recalled their previous conversation—
"You are not a white lotus; you don't need to belittle me with such words."
"I am not belittling you; I am speaking the truth."
"You have the ability to make all those who pressure you die."
"..."
She couldn't help but smile bitterly.
What she said was the truth; she indeed had the ability to make those who pressured her die.
Yet he thought she was belittling him.
Perhaps in his eyes, she was just a woman who did not know how to conduct herself.
But she had no regrets.
