“Immediately lead the Imperial Forest Army to search the entire Imperial Palace. We must find Gu Yuniang. I want to see her alive or her corpse!” The last part about wanting to see her corpse was almost through gritted teeth.
If she was fine, that would be good; but if something had happened to her, he would ensure that everyone involved paid the price. No one in the world had the right to harm her except him!
Azure Dragon looked up in surprise, realizing the seriousness of the situation, and quickly took people to search.
Consort Li watched the Emperor’s furious expression and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The Emperor truly cared for that woman; it seemed she hadn’t made a mistake!
Seeing this, Yunxin quickly said, “I will go look for her too!” With that, she dashed out of the Imperial Prosperity Hall, her figure blending into the dark night.

“Go to the Queen’s palace!” Tian Feiyao said coldly before striding out through the main door.

“What is the Empress thinking about?” The Queen’s personal maid, Xiang Lian, asked curiously as she saw her sitting on the couch in a daze.
“I am wondering who Yunxin was protecting today.” Having navigated the Harem for so long and with a remarkably intelligent sister, she had developed some insight; Yunxin must have been trying to protect someone today.
But who could that person be?
Yunxin was a top maid in the Harem; she had always been solitary and didn’t seem to be close with anyone. The Emperor favored whoever he wished, so why did she have to hide?
"Do you know about Gu Yuniang?" Xiang Lian recalled the woman she had looked up earlier and kindly reminded her.
"How could I not know? She is already a well-known secret in the Harem, but no one can mention her name!" The Queen suddenly realized, "Are you talking about her?"
"It's very likely! She was later taken by Consort Li, and the Emperor has been visiting Consort Li's palace noticeably more often. Moreover, she committed a serious act of disrespect, yet the Emperor hasn't mentioned it at all. Doesn't that raise suspicion?" Xiang Lian analyzed for her.

"Is there something urgent that the Emperor and Consort Li need from me?" she asked unhappily, completely unaware of Xiang Lian shaking her head desperately behind her. Why couldn't this Queen learn to be a bit smarter and more docile?
"It's nothing; I and Consort Li were just passing by! We came to see the Queen," Tian Feiyao said casually while observing the expressions of both the Queen and her maid, trying to find a clue from them.
The Queen may be foolish, but this maid behind her was not simple.
"Oh? Then I should thank the Emperor and my sister for passing by..." The Queen was so angry she nearly ground her silver teeth.
"Alright, Consort Li and I will take our leave! Queen, rest early!" Tian Feiyao was almost certain that the Queen wasn't involved; she couldn't hide anything on her face.
"My sister takes her leave!" Consort Li said with a beaming smile, clearly pleased with herself.
After they left, before the Queen could speak, Xiang Lian said, "I'll go see what happened!" With that, she leaped and disappeared into the dim night.
Tonight, the Imperial Palace was particularly lively. To avoid drawing attention, Azure Dragon only mentioned that there were suspicious individuals lurking in the Imperial Palace during their searches. Due to his special status, other consorts didn't say much either.
After searching around with no results.
Azure Dragon stopped and coldly asked, "Where else have we not searched?"
"Not in Consort Hua's place, but near the Cold Palace," his subordinate replied respectfully.

The group made their way to the Cold Palace. As night fell, a chilling wind swept through, creating a frightening atmosphere. The subordinates searched every corner, and at that moment, Azure Dragon noticed a pond not far away, its surface covered with water plants, undisturbed by any ripples.
He suddenly had an idea. "Someone, fish out whatever is in this pond!"
As he watched his subordinates rummaging around, his heart raced. He both hoped she wasn't in the pond and wished she was.
In the cold winter of December, such icy water could easily freeze a person to death.
After searching for a long time, they found nothing.
With gritted teeth, Azure Dragon jumped into the pond.
