"I know Shen Xingyu has mentioned divorce to you," Du Qiaoyun said with a smile. "But you still refuse to sign the papers."
"I won't sign," Ye Jingzhu replied firmly. "Shen Xingyu doesn't love me, and holding onto this position doesn't affect you at all. Why can't you just let me go?"
"Of course I won't let you go," Du Qiaoyun said coldly. "I want to become Shen Xingyu's wife; I want to take the position of Mrs. Shen."
"You can forget about it," Ye Jingzhu shouted at Du Qiaoyun. "I'd rather sit in Mrs. Shen's position until it wears out than give it up to you."
"Haha," Du Qiaoyun laughed, "Ye Jingzhu, I was originally going to let you off, but since you're so stubborn, don't blame me for being rude."
With that, Du Qiaoyun took out a contract from her bag. "Will you sign it?"
"I won't sign," Ye Jingzhu looked at Du Qiaoyun defiantly. "Are you really going to force me?"
"Haha, I am going to force you," Du Qiaoyun shouted behind her. "Teach her a good lesson until she agrees to sign the divorce papers."
"Yes." Two tall and strong men stepped out from behind Du Qiaoyun.
"What do you want?" Ye Jingzhu asked fearfully as she stepped back.
"Ye Jingzhu, it's not too late for you to sign now," Du Qiaoyun said smugly as she looked at Ye Jingzhu.
"I won't sign," Ye Jingzhu insisted.
"Give her a good lesson," Du Qiaoyun ordered, and the two men immediately approached Ye Jingzhu.
"Don't come any closer!" Ye Jingzhu cried out in fear as she backed away.
"Ye Jingzhu, stop being stubborn and just sign the divorce agreement," Du Qiaoyun said, crossing her arms as she waited to see Ye Jingzhu's humiliation.
"I won't sign," Ye Jingzhu was cornered by the two men.
"Don't waste time talking to her; teach her a lesson first," Du Qiaoyun said impatiently.
"Don't touch me!" Ye Jingzhu struggled.
But the two men still reached for her.
"Ah!" Ye Jingzhu screamed, "Don't touch me!"
"Ye Jingzhu, it's still not too late for you to sign now," Du Qiaoyun said with a smile.
"I won't sign." Ye Jingzhu was pinned to the ground by one man, while another man kicked her in the stomach.
"Ugh." Ye Jingzhu felt like her insides were about to be kicked out.
"Sign." With every word, the man kicked her stomach again.
"I... won't... sign." Ye Jingzhu bit her lip tightly.
"Well, you really are stubborn," Du Qiaoyun said as she stepped in front of Ye Jingzhu. She lifted her foot and stepped on Ye Jingzhu's face. "Ye Jingzhu, you're just a substitute for Wanwan. Do you really think Shen Xingyu will love you?"
"I... I know he doesn't love me, but... I won't let him go to you." Ye Jingzhu spat out a mouthful of blood, hitting Du Qiaoyun's face.
"Damn bitch." Du Qiaoyun wiped her face and shouted at the two men, "Pull out her teeth."
"Yes." The two men complied.
Seeing them approach, Ye Jingzhu bit down hard on her lip. She couldn't let them bully her like this; she couldn't let Du Qiaoyun feel so triumphant.
Waiting for the right moment, she opened her mouth and bit one man's hand.
"Ah!" The man recoiled in pain.
Ye Jingzhu seized the opportunity to escape from the other man and rushed in front of Du Qiaoyun, grabbing her collar and delivering a hard punch to her face.
"Du Qiaoyun, I won't let you go." Ye Jingzhu glared at Du Qiaoyun with bloodshot eyes. "Even if I die, I'll drag you down to hell with me."
"Ye Jingzhu, you've gone mad." Du Qiaoyun didn't expect Ye Jingzhu to strike her.
"I'm mad," Ye Jingzhu said as she pulled Du Qiaoyun toward the rooftop.
"Let go of me." Du Qiaoyun struggled fiercely.
Ye Jingzhu brought Du Qiaoyun to the edge of the rooftop, gripping the railing tightly with both hands, her eyes filled with hatred as she stared at Du Qiaoyun. "Even if I die, I won't let you go."
"Ye Jingzhu, let go of me." Seeing Ye Jingzhu's expression made Du Qiaoyun a little scared.
"I won't let you go." Ye Jingzhu revealed a sinister smile. "I want to die with you."
"Let go of me." Du Qiaoyun continued to struggle.
But Ye Jingzhu released her grip, climbed over the railing, and jumped down.
Du Qiaoyun was shocked and instinctively grabbed the railing.
She saw Ye Jingzhu's body falling down, and she noticed the smug smile on Ye Jingzhu's face. Du Qiaoyun knew that Ye Jingzhu wanted to drag her down with her, wanting her to accompany her in death. But how could she let Ye Jingzhu have her way?
She let go of her hand and jumped down with Ye Jingzhu. However, she jumped sideways, tightly embracing Ye Jingzhu. This way, even if she got hurt, it wouldn't be too serious.
When Ye Jingzhu saw Du Qiaoyun jump down after her, she realized that she wouldn't be able to take Du Qiaoyun down with her after all. She felt unwilling, and her hands gripped Du Qiaoyun's neck tightly. "Even if I die, I won't let you go."
"Ye Jingzhu, stop dreaming," Du Qiaoyun said as she also gripped Ye Jingzhu's neck. She knew they were on the second floor and that there wouldn't be any life-threatening danger; she just needed to protect herself.
"Du Qiaoyun," Ye Jingzhu continued to grip Du Qiaoyun's neck fiercely.
"Ye Jingzhu, you're the one who should die," Du Qiaoyun said coldly.
"Help! Help!" Du Qiaoyun shouted towards the ground below. She knew she was still a few meters above the ground and that there wouldn't be any life-threatening danger; she wanted people to know that it was Ye Jingzhu who pushed her down.
"Shen Xingyu, help me!" Du Qiaoyun shouted loudly.
Hearing the voice, Shen Xingyu ran out and saw Ye Jingzhu and Du Qiaoyun falling from upstairs. He rushed over but could only watch helplessly as the two women fell to the ground.
