She didn't care how many initially admiring gazes were fixed on her stunning face, only to turn away in disappointment after witnessing her crude eating habits. She continued to enjoy her delicious cake until the guests in the hall began to stir, and the atmosphere at the banquet became unusually lively.
After finishing the plate of cake, Lin Yaru stood up and stretched her slightly bloated stomach. She felt too full and decided to move around a bit.

Despite feeling that she should leave this place filled with gossip, she had an overwhelming desire that pulled her back. She should have dragged her brother away from this dreadful place quickly, but she couldn't resist the strong temptation of curiosity. Unconsciously, her feet moved step by step toward where the crowd was gathering.
Using all her strength, Lin Yaru squeezed and pushed through until she finally managed to get into the crowd. There she saw Xie Dongshi standing on the second step of the spiral staircase, next to him was a small paper box.
What was that for? Lin Yaru wondered if there would be a lottery at the banquet?! Wow! This banquet was indeed different from previous ones! It turned out that her brother hadn't lied to her after all.
