Lin Yaru stared in shock, her beautiful, clear eyes wide open as she gazed at Ye Shenghan without blinking. Her left hand instinctively slipped the engagement ring off her right hand, tightly gripping it in her palm, the precious diamond digging painfully into her skin.
"I... I haven't yet."
Lin Yaru lowered her head shyly, a blush spreading across her face. However, it was not a blush of embarrassment but rather one born from extreme excitement.
"Then... are you willing to..." Ye Shenghan, filled with excitement, suddenly realized his impulsiveness and hesitated for a moment. "I know that what I'm saying might be too forward and could scare you, but please believe me, I'm not that kind of man. The moment I saw you, I felt something extraordinary. I think... I fell in love with you at first sight."
No, not at all too forward, and it definitely wouldn't scare her! This was exactly what Lin Yaru had longed for! She was so excited and happy that she wanted to shout out loud! Thank God!

Lin Yaru blushed and glanced at him shyly before quickly lowering her head again. However, the joy on her face was undeniable as she nodded slightly while looking down.
The two were clearly immersed in each other's affectionate gazes, lost in their own world, unaware that the Lin family's villa had already come into view in the distance...
"Young Master, we've arrived at Miss Lin's home," the driver suddenly spoke up, breaking the enchanting silence of their deep gaze into each other's eyes.
"Shenghan, I'm home now. Thank you!"
Lin Yaru blushed elegantly as she bid farewell to Ye Shenghan and stepped out of the car. She did not expect Ye Shenghan to follow closely behind her.
"Tomorrow, I don't know if you are free?" Ye Shenghan's voice trembled slightly with excitement. "I would like to invite you to Azure Cloud for afternoon tea. I wonder if you would grant me the honor of inviting such a beautiful angel?"
"I would definitely love to!" Lin Yaru shyly smiled, quickly lowering her head and fluttering her eyelashes to hide the overwhelming excitement in her eyes.
"Then... it's settled. Let's meet at Azure Cloud tomorrow at two in the afternoon."
Ye Shenghan's bright eyes fixed intently on Lin Yaru's delicate and graceful figure as she disappeared through the villa's gate. After a long moment, he reluctantly got into his car and drove away.
