Yan Chengjie seemed to perform an action that was incredibly natural, yet it caused Lin Yaru to blush and her heart to race again. She hurriedly picked up the large stack of documents on the table, burying her head in them like an ostrich.
"Um, the flavor of the rice dish here is... really not... bad," Lin Yaru said somewhat incoherently. At that moment, her heart had already been stirred by Yan Chengjie, making it difficult for her to control herself; she was practically overwhelmed with youthful feelings.

Lin Yaru peeked out from between the documents. She saw Yan Chengjie's serious gaze, which inexplicably made her blush and her heart race again. At that moment, Lin Yaru felt as if there were fifteen buckets being drawn from a well—her emotions were in a state of chaos, filled with anxiety and restlessness.
