I distributed the documents to the shareholders present, and as they looked at the papers in their hands, their expressions grew increasingly grim. Wei Chen's face turned ashen; he knew it was over for him, completely over.
"This evidence is sufficient to prove that Wei Chen has been abusing his position for years to embezzle company assets and line his own pockets!" My voice echoed in the conference room, firm and resolute.
"You’re talking nonsense!" Wei Chen could no longer contain himself. He suddenly stood up, pointing at me and shouting, "These are all forgeries you've created; this is slander!"
"Whether I have slandered you or not, you know in your heart," I replied coldly, my gaze filled with disdain and disgust. "Did you really think you could hide what you’ve done?"
"You..." Wei Chen trembled with rage but was powerless to refute me. The evidence I presented was irrefutable; he could not deny it.
I surveyed the room, and the faces of the shareholders were filled with anger. They realized they had been deceived by Wei Chen for so many years.
"I propose that we dismiss Wei Chen from all his positions and hold him legally accountable!" one shareholder stood up, speaking passionately.
"I second that!"
"I second it too!"
...
The shareholders expressed their support one after another, furious and demanding Wei Chen's removal.
Wei Chen slumped helplessly in his chair, his face devoid of color. He never imagined that the business he had painstakingly built over the years would come crashing down in an instant.
I looked at everything before me, feeling no ripple of emotion. This was all his own doing; he had no one to blame but himself.
"I announce that Wei Chen is officially dismissed and will no longer hold any position in Wei Group starting today!" My tone was firm and left no room for doubt.
I walked to the window and gazed out at the bustling city, my heart filled with mixed emotions. This struggle had finally come to an end, and I had won—completely.
Turning around, I looked at the shareholders who had once been deceived by Wei Chen; they now regarded me with admiration. I knew that the burden on my shoulders had grown heavier, and I needed to lead Wei Group into a new future.
"I will reorganize the equity distribution of Wei Group and introduce a new management team to guide Wei Group toward a new future!" I scanned the crowd, my voice resolute and full of strength.
After speaking, I turned and walked out of the conference room, knowing that my future would be bright.
As I exited the meeting room, Gu Shisheng was waiting for me at the door, his eyes filled with admiration and affection. I smiled slightly at him; he knew I had succeeded.

"Wei Chen!" I said coldly, looking at Wei Chen standing at the office door, pale-faced. My tone was icy. "What are you doing here today?"
Wei Chen was intimidated by my piercing gaze; he lowered his head, unable to meet my eyes, and stammered, "I know I was wrong. Please give me another chance; I promise I won't make the same mistakes again."
I let out a cold laugh. "You have already made too many mistakes—ones that cannot be undone." I pulled a document from my desk drawer and threw it in front of Wei Chen. "This contains your evidence. I've already submitted all the proof to the police; prepare to face legal consequences."
"No! Please!" Wei Chen fell to his knees, gripping my ankle tightly as he pleaded, "I beg you, spare me! I have a son to raise; I can't be without them."
I pushed Wei Chen away with disgust and said firmly, "Don't use your son to threaten me. I have nothing to do with them; they are your children with that fool, not mine. You need to pay for what you've done, and it has nothing to do with them!"
Wei Chen looked at me with tear-filled eyes, her voice full of despair. "Are you really going to be this heartless? We once loved each other so much; don't you have any fond memories? Are you really going to watch me get taken away?"
"Fond memories? Do you deserve that?" I replied coldly. "Did you think about fond memories when you betrayed me? Did you think about fond memories when you plotted against me? Did you think about fond memories when you played me for a fool?"
