I chose to meet him at a high-end private club. 0

As soon as we met, he was taken aback and stammered, "Zhou Xiaoan, what are you doing here? Did you contact me?" 0

He instinctively covered the hickey on his neck, and I suppressed my inner anger, offering him a friendly smile. 0

"Oh my, my busy friend, you’ve been back in the country for half a year and haven’t contacted me at all," I said. "I’m getting married and wanted to invite you to be my curator, but I was afraid that my event would be too small for you, so I resorted to this method." 0

Seeing that I appeared calm, he instantly relaxed and began to engage in small talk with me. 0

"Oh dear, I've been so busy that I completely forgot to reach out to you. I'm sorry, really sorry," he replied. "Don’t worry about your wedding; I’ll take care of everything." 0

While we spoke, I sent a location and message to Shalolo: "I need to talk to you. Come quickly." 0

A second later, she replied with "ok." 0

I could hardly wait to see how this couple would panic in front of me. 0

Putting down my phone, I smiled again and said, "I only found out from your social media that you got married six months ago. Not telling me such a big thing is quite unfair." 0

Lin Yulin nervously picked up his coffee and said, "I'm really sorry. Once things settle down, let me treat you today as an apology." 0

Worried about revealing too much, he quickly changed the subject: "Where's your sister-in-law? Usually, it's the woman who cares more about wedding planning, right?" 0

"She's at work, busy." 0

He smirked slightly and said, "A perfect wedding is every woman's dream. If this woman isn't willing to put effort into the wedding, it means she doesn't love you that much." 0

I detected his sarcasm but didn't retort; I just smiled and quietly watched him. 0

The atmosphere became a bit awkward, and he immediately joked, "Just kidding! I heard that on a relationship show." 0

"You’re right; I also think she doesn’t love me much. That’s why I brought up breaking up with her a few days ago. I suspect she might be seeing someone else." 0

My last statement caused Lin Yulin to choke on his coffee. 0

I quickly added, "But my family has been urging me not to break up. My fiancée has been begging me to stay together; she says she truly loves me and can't bear to lose me." 0

"That makes sense; after all, it's been five years of relationship. I'm feeling a bit hesitant now. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?" 0

Lin Yulin remained silent, but there was a hint of jealousy in his gaze. 0

"That depends on what you really think. For me, I've been abroad for five years, and my wife waited for me all that time. Whenever I say I'm hungry, she spends three hours staying up late to cook for me." 0

"Last week we went to Chuanxi, which was actually a spur-of-the-moment decision on my part, but she still set aside all her work to accompany me." 0

The person Lin Yulin mentioned felt unfamiliar to me. Reflecting on these five years, I realized I had never felt a hint of warmth from Shalolo. 0

Lin Yulin continued to recount their past, like a victor boasting about his achievements. 0

I quietly sipped my coffee until I spotted Shalolo's figure in the distance. 0

I immediately raised my hand and shouted, " Luoluo, I'm over here!" 0

Lin Yulin instantly froze, his face turning pale as paper. 0

Shalolo stood there, hesitant to approach. 0

But I deliberately called out loudly, "Darling, I'm right here." 0

Lin Yulin's expression was indescribably ugly; he even put down his coffee and stood up, making an excuse to leave. 0

Of course, I couldn't let him go. 0
