It all started on a summer afternoon. I was six years old, the age when children love to play, and it was during the summer vacation. Back then, there weren't many diverse playgrounds or toys, so children's games were monotonous and boring, mostly consisting of chasing and roughhousing with each other. 0

That afternoon, my mother had pressed me down on the bed for a nap. The cicadas outside the window were making such a racket that I couldn't fall asleep. In a daze, I suddenly heard someone shouting in the street, "Popsicles for sale!" Instantly alert, I rolled over and jumped up, rushing out of the yard. 0

My mother grabbed me and asked where I was going. I replied, "I heard someone selling popsicles outside, and I want to buy one." She said, "Those things are cold; they'll upset your stomach. You can't buy any! Just go to sleep!" 0

I wouldn't take no for an answer and began to cry and fuss, insisting that I wanted one. My mother, feeling sorry for me, had no choice but to pull out a crumpled bill from her pocket and handed it to me, saying, "Go ahead! But just this once! Don't make a fuss next time..." 0

I was overjoyed, snatching the money from her hand and turning to run out of the yard. However, by the time I dashed out, the popsicle cart had already moved far away... 0

I sprinted after the popsicle cart, crying as I ran, but it was long gone; there was no way I could catch up. Despair washed over me as I cried and cursed, wishing I could smash that popsicle cart into pieces. Just when I kicked a poplar tree with all my might in frustration, something unbelievable happened—I suddenly vanished from my spot... 0

I found myself in an unfamiliar place... The world before me had transformed into another realm! 0

The trees here were extraordinarily tall; some reached hundreds of meters high with their crowns stretching into the clouds. The grass on the ground grew lush and thick, reaching up to my waist. I should have been next to a small dirt path where there was a little puddle filled with frogs and tadpoles. But now, that puddle had turned into an endless lake shimmering under the sunlight. 0

I shivered involuntarily and looked around; the dirt path behind me had disappeared, replaced by dense thickets and bushes all around. In the distance were vast stretches of forest. 0

I was utterly bewildered... Where was I? Had I imagined this? Was I dreaming? 0

I pinched myself hard, and the pain made me grimace; this was not a dream. I was so scared that I started to cry and ran around frantically, searching for my mother, but I was in a desolate area with no sign of anyone. 0

Just then, I heard a series of "chirp chirp chirp" sounds. I quickly turned around and saw a gigantic green Giant Grasshopper crawling toward me. This Giant Grasshopper was extraordinarily large, measuring about two meters in length, completely emerald green, with long antennae on its head and six legs moving rapidly on the ground at an incredible speed. 0

I was instantly terrified and screamed as I turned to run away. Fortunately, I reacted quickly, and the Giant Grasshopper did not chase after me. However, the dog, Da Huang, behind me was terrified; it started barking furiously at the Giant Grasshopper. 0

Attracted by the dog's barking, the Giant Grasshopper immediately changed direction and charged at Da Huang. Although Da Huang was also a large dog, it seemed incredibly small in front of the two-meter-long Giant Grasshopper and was swallowed whole in one bite. 0
