I caught a wild rabbit and took a look. It was quite plump, with smooth and shiny fur, clearly looking delicious. Everyone stared at the rabbit, nearly drooling. 0

A Meng scratched his head and said, "It's a pity that its companions got away." 0

"Companions?" I paused for a moment and asked, "Does this rabbit have companions?" 0

A Meng nodded and replied, "Yeah, I saw a few in the bushes just now, but they were too fast for me to catch." 0

"Which direction did they run?" I inquired. 0

A Meng pointed towards the bushes ahead and said, "They ran that way." 0

I thought for a moment and said, "It's getting late; let's head back for now and come back tomorrow to catch them." 0

Everyone nodded and followed me back. 0

Halfway there, we suddenly heard Da Huang barking wildly. 0

Everyone hurried over and saw Da Huang standing in the bushes, barking at one direction non-stop. 0

I walked over to take a look and noticed a pool of blood on the ground; it hadn't dried yet, indicating it was fresh. 0

Following Da Huang's gaze down to the ground, I realized it was the blood left by an injured rabbit. 0

He picked up a stone and rubbed it against the bloodstain, which immediately became stained with dark red liquid. 0

"It seems that rabbit is seriously injured; it probably won't get far," he exclaimed excitedly. "Quick, let's follow it!" 0

Along the way, the blood trail was intermittent, leading us to a dense thicket. 0

Behind the thicket was a cliff with a dark cave in its wall. 0

The blood trail disappeared at the entrance of the cave. 0

"It looks like the rabbit has hidden inside," A-Dai said, staring at the cave entrance. 0

"This entrance is so small; we can't get in," Xiao Xiao scratched his head and said. 0

"Look, the blood trail ends here; it must have gone inside," A Meng stated. 0

"But this entrance is too small; we can't possibly fit," Xiao Xiao frowned. 0

"Let's have Da Huang go in and check," A-Dai suggested. 0

"Yeah, Da Huang is small enough to squeeze in," A Meng said happily. 0
"Alright, let's have Da Huang go in and take a look," I nodded in agreement. 0
" Da Huang, hurry up and check inside," Xiao Xiao crouched down and patted Da Huang on the head. 0
Da Huang wagged its tail, hunched its body, and with a whoosh, it darted inside. 0
After a long time, Da Huang still hadn't come out. 0
"What's going on? Why hasn't Da Huang come back yet?" A Meng asked anxiously. 0
"Let's wait a bit longer," I replied. 0
After waiting a while longer, Da Huang still didn't emerge, and I started to feel uneasy. 0
I stood up and walked to the entrance of the cave, peering inside. 0
The cave was pitch black; I couldn't see anything or hear any sounds. 0
I picked up a stone and threw it inside; it landed with a series of crisp sounds. 0
Still no sign of Da Huang. 0
"Could Da Huang be in some kind of danger?" Xiao Xiao asked worriedly. 0
"No way," I shook my head, "the cave is so small that if there were any danger, Da Huang would definitely make a noise." 0
"Then why isn't it coming out?" A Meng asked. 0
"I don't know," I said, "maybe there's something inside that has caught its interest." 0
"What should we do now?" A Meng asked. 0
"Let's just wait a bit longer," I replied. 0
Everyone sat beside the cave entrance, anxiously waiting. 0
