Xiao Fang could only let him hold the mobile phone and sleep.
The sunlight had quietly moved from indoors to the balcony.
Xiao Fang stood by the window, feeling heavy-hearted as he gazed outside.
At this time of day, he should have been sitting in his bright and spacious office handling affairs.

"No, it's Dad."
Xiao Ran lay back down on the bed in despair, but she didn't go back to sleep; her eyes were wide open, staring at the ceiling.
Xiao Fang pressed the answer button and called into the microphone, "Dad."
"Xiao Fang, are you with Xiao Ran? Where is Mo Li?"
Xiao Jingxuan's voice was unusually cold, contrasting with his usual calm and loving tone.
Xiao Fang carefully replied, "We're all together. We had a great time last night and stayed at the hotel because we played too late. I'll head back to the office soon."
Xiao Jingxuan scolded angrily, "Are you trying to deceive me? Mo Li is missing, isn't he?"
Xiao Fang forced a smile and said, "Dad, how could you say that?"
Xiao Jingxuan snorted heavily.
"Do you think I wouldn't know what you two have been up to? You and Xiao Ran, come home right now and explain everything to me."
Xiao Fang put down the mobile phone and said with a bitter smile to Xiao Ran, "Let's go home. The old man already knows."
Xiao Ran gloomily got up and followed Xiao Fang home.
At the Xiao Residence, in Xiao Jingxuan's bedroom, Xiao Jingxuan slammed the phone down heavily.
Lin Caijing leaned against the vanity and asked, "Did they admit it? Mo Li is missing?"
Xiao Jingxuan paced back and forth in the room, irritated.
"Is there any chance that the news I received could be wrong? These two ungrateful sons actually thought they could hide this from me."
What made him even angrier was that it had been two days since the incident occurred, and he had only just received the news.
