"Xiao Ya is really understanding. I’ll treat you to coffee one day."
However, the corner of his eye never left Mo Li for a moment.
Mo Li sat quietly beside him, her expression calm.
She rested her chin on her hand, seemingly lost in thought, her gaze wandering as if she hadn’t heard his words at all.
Xiao Ran wasn’t really interested in chatting with these girls; he just wanted to provoke Mo Li.
He instinctively felt that it was because of her that his parents had gotten into the Car Accident.
But he couldn’t do anything about her, and all his pent-up anger had nowhere to go.
To his surprise, she seemed indifferent to his actions, completely unconcerned.
Xiao Ran felt frustrated and angry.

"Mo Li," Xiao Ran said, his breath reeking of alcohol, "dance with me."
The girls looked at Mo Li with a mix of envy and jealousy.
In the past, whenever there was a gathering, no matter what kind it was, Xiao Ran never wanted to dance.
When Mo Li was around, he would just hide in a corner and whisper secrets with her.
When Mo Li wasn't there, he either sat alone watching or chatted with a few close boys.
No matter how much the girls begged him to dance, he simply refused.
But now, he was actually taking the initiative to invite Mo Li to dance.
What was going on between them?
Hearing Xiao Ran's words, the crowd became excited, and someone quickly changed the soft music to an upbeat dance tune.
Mo Li pushed Xiao Ran's hand away and calmly said, "Xiao Ran, stop it. You've had too much to drink; you should rest."
Xiao Ran replied sarcastically, "What's wrong? Can't you?"
"Yes, I can't dance."
Mo Li ignored his tone and answered clearly.
She didn't actually lack the ability to dance; she simply didn't want to vent Xiao Ran's frustrations in such a setting.
The other girls, however, took her words at face value, each displaying an extremely disdainful expression and mocking her.
"Can't even dance, how embarrassing."
"Exactly, how dare you even attend the party."
