They got to know each other through the Culinary Club they joined before their junior year, both being members. However, Long Yong was dragged into the club by his friends just to make up the numbers, attending activities only occasionally, something outsiders were unaware of. On the other hand, Rao Jie joined out of genuine interest and only learned about Long Yong from her enthusiastic clubmates after she joined.
Over three years in the club, they had met no more than ten times, and their conversations probably didn’t exceed a hundred words, including greetings like "Good morning" and "Hello." They didn’t even have each other's contact information.
So when Senior Long Yong took the initiative to greet her today, Rao Jie was quite surprised.
"What’s the class leader doing? Flirting with the junior? He just switched seats with me on purpose," said a senior who had been sitting next to Rao Jie, now inexplicably clutching his books in Long Yong's previous seat.
The student at Long Yong's former desk looked up and exclaimed, "Oh? It's her! Now I get it, no wonder!"
"What do you get? Is there some gossip?"
"Hehe, it's a secret!"
"Isn't our class leader someone who never approaches girls?"
"She's an exception."

"Long time no see, Rao Jie," Long Yong said with a smile that radiated charm. He wore a clean white T-shirt, and his tousled chestnut hair framed his slightly flushed ears adorned with black earrings.
Rao Jie felt a bit awkward facing Long Yong's friendly greeting; after all, they weren’t familiar with each other at all and she struggled to find something to say. In contrast to her discomfort, Long Yong appeared completely at ease as if they were old friends. He skipped the small talk and directly pointed out the mistakes in her Error Collection.
Initially feeling a bit uneasy, Rao Jie quickly got caught up in the problem-solving process. Once she solved a problem, she felt refreshed and forgot about their unfamiliarity.
"Senior, you're amazing!" Rao Jie couldn’t help but exclaim.
Long Yong raised an eyebrow and smiled, his gaze seemingly pulling Rao Jie’s attention to the next question. "Look, this question is actually of the same type; you can solve it like this..."
He naturally continued guiding her through the subsequent problems, effectively taking on the role of a teacher. Rao Jie was so focused on following Long Yong’s thought process that she didn’t have time to ponder why he was helping her so much.
In the study room, even though talking was allowed, everyone spoke in hushed tones. At that moment, Rao Jie and Long Yong unconsciously leaned very close to each other, like two friends whispering secrets.
Rao Jie lost track of time, but she had already completed a third of her exercise book.
"Let's take a break; you can't exhaust yourself all at once," Long Yong suggested after finishing a problem.
Rao Jie snapped back to reality and realized how close Long Yong was to her. A faint scent of lemon wafted from him, refreshing, just like the overall impression he gave.
"Senior, why are you..." Rao Jie asked, a bit confused.
Long Yong smiled and replied, "I couldn't bear to see you struggling alone with math problems. As a senior from the Mathematics Department, it wouldn't be right not to help. After all, we're both members of the same club, and you even treated me to something you made! That kindness is significant; I have to repay it."
Rao Jie blinked, struggling to remember.
Seeing her dazed expression made Long Yong smile even more. "You made Tiramisu for the first time; it was a bit bitter."
Rao Jie suddenly recalled that it was her first attempt at making a more complex dessert.
