"But..." Di Renjie wanted to say something, but he was interrupted by Li Xuanqing.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing," Li Xuanqing said as he patted Di Renjie's shoulder and turned to leave the private room.
Di Renjie stood in place, watching Li Xuanqing's departing figure with a furrowed brow and a look of unease in his eyes. He knew that Li Xuanqing was heading into great danger, but he felt powerless to help and could only silently pray for his safe return.
