At midnight, the phone screen flashed the words "Ruan Qinghe." Yin sneered and answered the call.

Yin pretended to be calm as she answered the phone. A hurried voice came through: "Is this a family member of Mr. Gu? Ruan Qinghe has suddenly fallen ill and needs an urgent blood transfusion, but her blood type is very rare..."
Her heart raced, but she forced herself to ask calmly, "What blood type? Is it serious?"
"It’s RH negative, very rare. The hospital's blood bank is running low; the situation is critical!"

After receiving a positive response, she took a deep breath and feigned urgency as she said into the phone, "Okay, I will notify him immediately and have him rush to the hospital as fast as he can!"
Hanging up the phone, Yin turned to look at her sleeping husband. He still bore signs of fatigue as she quietly approached the bedside and gently nudged him.
Mr. Gu groggily opened his eyes and saw Yin, a hint of confusion crossing his face. "What's wrong? Why aren't you asleep at this hour?"
She took a deep breath, striving to keep her tone calm and natural: "The hospital called. They said... that Ruan Qinghe is sick, and it's serious. She needs an urgent blood transfusion, but her blood type is rare—it's the same as yours. Only you can save her now!"
Mr. Gu, after hearing my words, suddenly sat up in bed, fully awake. His brow was furrowed, and his expression was filled with worry and anxiety.
As he quickly got out of bed and dressed, he asked urgently, "How could this happen? What is her condition now? Is it serious?"
Seeing his flustered demeanor, Yin felt a mix of emotions but could only feign calmness as she reassured him, "I’m not sure about the specifics either. Don’t panic; just hurry to the hospital and be careful on the way."

She picked up her phone and dialed a number, her tone icy as she instructed, "Proceed according to plan; we cannot let him reach the hospital smoothly!" After hanging up, she walked to the window and watched Mr. Gu's car disappear into the night, her eyes filled with determination and resolve.

Mr. Gu's car sped along the road to the hospital. He was anxious, his mind racing with images of Ruan Qinghe's pale face, and his grip on the steering wheel tightened unconsciously.
Suddenly, a black sedan overtook him from the side and then slammed on the brakes right in front of his car, blocking his path.
Startled, Mr. Gu slammed on the brakes, the screeching sound piercing through the quiet night.
Fuming, he opened the car door and was about to confront them when he saw several burly men in black suits and sunglasses stepping out of the black sedan, walking straight toward him. The leading man approached Mr. Gu and said coldly, "Mr. Gu, our boss would like you to come with us."
Confused but intimidated by their aggressive approach, Mr. Gu suppressed his unease and anxiety and asked coldly, "Who are you? Why are you blocking my car?"
The leading man ignored his question and simply repeated, "Our boss requests that you come with us, please!"
After saying this, he made a gesture indicating for him to get in the car.
Mr. Gu hesitated for a moment but ultimately followed them into the vehicle.
He knew this was not the time to act impulsively; Ruan Qinghe was still waiting for him at the hospital, and he needed to get there as soon as possible!
The car sped along and finally stopped in front of a private hospital.
Mr. Gu was taken out of the car, and the leading man guided him directly into the hospital, arriving at the door of a patient room before signaling for him to enter.
Mr. Gu pushed open the door and immediately saw Ruan Qinghe lying on the hospital bed, pale but safe and sound.
