I looked at her, feeling no waves in my heart. This was all her own doing. She could have lived well and happily, but she chose to court disaster. Since she wanted to self-destruct, I would just fulfill her wish. 0

Fu Qingqing was under house arrest. Fu Guanbai locked her up, not allowing her to leave the room even a step. She would roar in anger every day, but no one paid her any attention. Fu Qingqing's scandal affected the family's reputation, and Fu Guanbai was overwhelmed with work, having no time to deal with her. 0

Fu Guangbai also got busy, needing to help manage family affairs. Meanwhile, Fu Bo and I leisurely stayed at home, living our own little lives. One day, I was sitting in the yard drinking tea when Fu Guangbai came over. 0

"Mu He," she said as she sat down across from me, looking tired. 0

"What's wrong, Mother-in-law?" I smiled and poured her a cup of tea. 0

Fu Guangbai looked at me and hesitated for a moment. "Did you and Fu Bo already know that Fu Qingqing would do something like this?" 0

I blinked. "Mother-in-law, why do you say that?" 0

"That night, you and Fu Bo were very calm," Fu Guangbai said. "It was as if you knew what was going to happen in advance." 0

I chuckled lightly. "Mother-in-law, how could we possibly know? It was just a coincidence." 0

Fu Guangbai stared at me, seemingly trying to read something from my face. I calmly met her gaze. After a while, Fu Guangbai looked away. 0

"Alright," she sighed. "Maybe I’m overthinking it." 0

I smiled slightly and said nothing. 0

Fu Guangbai took a sip of tea and suddenly remembered something. 0
"By the way, Fu Qingqing said she wants to see you," she said. 0
"See me?" I raised an eyebrow. 0
"Yes," Fu Guangbai nodded. "She said she has something to tell you." 0
I smiled, "Alright, I'll go see her." 0
I was also curious about how Fu Qingqing was doing now. 0
I followed Fu Guangbai to the room where Fu Qingqing was being held under house arrest. 0
Inside the room, Fu Qingqing was sitting on the sofa, her face dark as she stared at the wall. 0
She looked haggard, with bloodshot eyes. 0
Upon seeing me, she suddenly stood up. 0
"Lin Muhe!" she shouted through gritted teeth. 0
I smiled lightly, "Auntie, long time no see." 0
"It was you who did this, wasn't it?!" Fu Qingqing charged at me in anger. 0
She reached out to grab my collar but was held back by a servant. 0
The servant firmly grasped her arm, preventing her from getting close to me. 0
Fu Qingqing struggled desperately, her eyes bloodshot. 0
"I know it was you who did this!" she screamed hysterically. 0
"Auntie, I really don't understand what you're saying," I replied calmly. "What you did has nothing to do with me." 0
"Auntie, you shouldn't make baseless accusations," I feigned confusion as I looked at her. "I know your reputation is ruined and you're feeling frustrated, but you shouldn't shift the blame onto others." 0
"You know it's not like that!" Fu Qingqing continued to struggle, screaming, "You framed me! It was you!" 0
I chuckled softly, "Do you have any evidence?" 0
Fu Qingqing was taken aback. 0
Of course, she had no evidence; otherwise, she would have exploded by now! 0

I just grabbed the cup of drugged wine from her and sent her to the bed of the Zhao Family Brothers. The whole process was clean and efficient, leaving no traces behind. Even if Fu Qingqing knew it was me and Fu Bo who did it, she wouldn't be able to find any evidence. I smiled at her, my eyes filled with mockery. 0

Fu Qingqing stared at me, her chest rising and falling rapidly. I chuckled lightly and turned to leave. "Lin Muhe, I won't let you get away with this!" came Fu Qingqing's heart-wrenching shout from behind me. I scoffed coldly. What could she do? She was already completely finished, with no chance of turning things around. 0

A few days later, Fu Guanbai received news that Fu Qingqing had gone missing from the tavern. At that time, Fu Guanbai was at home chatting with us. "What did you say? Qingqing is missing?" Fu Guanbai stood up in shock. "Yes," one of his subordinates replied, "someone saw several men carrying her into the tavern, and she never came out again." 0
