"What else does Your Highness want?"

A war broke out, plunging the entire Luchuan into panic. Xiao Yi led the rebel army and fought all the way to Luchuan. The city guards naturally refused to open the gates, so Xiao Yi forcefully attacked the city. On that day, the sounds of killing shook the heavens, and blood flowed like rivers. The city guards either died or fled, scattering in all directions.
After entering the city, Xiao Yi further encouraged his soldiers to burn, kill, and plunder, committing all kinds of atrocities. The the Qian Family learned of the news and hurriedly packed their belongings to escape to the imperial capital. They were reluctant to leave me behind and wanted to take me with them. However, they were even more unwilling to part with their lives. Thus, they left me and other maidservants in the mansion while they fled to the imperial capital alone.
