"Which direction?" I asked curiously.
"This one." Lu Hao pointed to his chest.
I followed his finger and noticed that his shirt was open, revealing his skin underneath.
His skin was very fair, with well-defined muscles, making him look very healthy.
"You mean..." I seemed to guess something.
"I want to compete professionally," Lu Hao said firmly.
"Wow!" I was shocked.
"Will you support me?" Lu Hao looked at me seriously.
"Of course!" I nodded without hesitation.
A smile appeared on Lu Hao's face.
"You just mentioned a surprise for me?" I suddenly remembered.
"Oh." Lu Hao reacted, pulling out four tickets and handing them to me.
I took a look and found that they were internal tickets for their Spring Sports Tournament, with great seats and access to the backstage for photos with the players!
"How did you get these?!" I exclaimed excitedly.
"I had someone help me buy them," Lu Hao replied with a smile.
"That's amazing!" I was thrilled.
This way, I could watch Lu Hao play up close!
"Thank you for the surprise; I really like it," I said sincerely.
"I'm glad you like it," Lu Hao smiled.
I cherished the tickets and continued chatting with Lu Hao.
"What have you been busy with lately?" I asked.
"Just the usual stuff," Lu Hao sighed.
"Don't worry," I comforted him, "everything will be alright."
"Yeah," Lu Hao nodded.
We chatted for a while when Lu Hao suddenly stood up.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm getting you the computer," Lu Hao replied.
"Huh?" I was taken aback.
"Don't you need to write your paper?" Lu Hao said, "It's quiet here; you can write here."
"Oh," I realized, "Okay."
Lu Hao went to get the computer while I sat in the dining room, quietly working on my assignment.
Lu Hao quickly returned with the computer, placed it on the table, and then went back to his own tasks.
I worked on my assignment for a while, but feeling drowsy, I yawned.
"I'm going to wash my face," I said as I stood up and walked out of the dining room.
The yard was empty; there wasn't a soul around.
I walked over to the sink, turned on the faucet, and splashed some cold water on my face.
"Aren't you afraid of catching a cold?" Lu Hao's voice came from behind me.
"It's fine," I shook my head, "A little cold helps me wake up."
"Let me get you a cup of hot water," Lu Hao offered.
"No need," I waved my hand, "I'll be fine soon."
Lu Hao didn't say anything more, and I ignored him as I continued washing my face.
After washing my face, I lifted my head and dried off the water with a tissue.
"Where's Xiao Hei?" I asked.
"My colleague took him out to play," Lu Hao answered.
"Oh," I nodded.
I looked around and suddenly noticed a pot of potato sprouts on the windowsill.
"Did you plant that?" I asked curiously.
"No," Lu Hao shook his head, "It's Chen Ran's experiment."
"Experiment?" I asked in surprise.
"Mm." Lu Hao nodded. "He said he wants to study whether potatoes can sprout in winter."
"..." I was speechless.
This is so boring!
Suddenly, Lu Hao's phone rang. He picked it up, and his expression changed immediately.
"What's wrong?" I asked with concern.
"A few high school classmates are coming from out of town to see me," Lu Hao said, frowning.
"Really?" I was surprised.
"I told them my girlfriend is here today," Lu Hao continued, "and they insisted on coming over for a meal."
"..." I was taken aback.
"I'm sorry, I didn't expect them to come," Lu Hao apologized. "If you mind, I can refuse them right away."
"It's fine." I shook my head. "They're your friends; having a meal together is no big deal."
"Really?" Lu Hao asked, surprised.
"Mm." I nodded.
"That's great!" Lu Hao exclaimed excitedly. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome." I smiled.
Lu Hao immediately made a phone call to reserve a table at the restaurant.
"We'll head over there shortly," he said to me.
"Okay." I nodded.
We tidied up a bit and left the studio.
"My classmates might be a bit rowdy," Lu Hao said. "I hope you don't mind."
"It's fine." I laughed. "It'll be nice to have some excitement."
Lu Hao smiled and didn't say anything more. We took a taxi to the restaurant; there was a bit of traffic on the way, but we arrived smoothly in the end.
