I raised an eyebrow.
"What are you trying to do?" Cheng Lin asked again.
"Fan Ge, I didn't bring any clothes. Can I wear your shirt?" Cheng Lin inquired once more.
I twitched my mouth.
This guy really is... shameless!
"Fan Ge?" Cheng Lin spoke again.
"Get it yourself," Qian Fan replied, growing more impatient.
"Okay," Cheng Lin answered shyly, "then I'll go get it."
"Mm." Qian Fan remained indifferent.
With a loud bang, I suddenly pushed the door open.
"Ah!" Cheng Lin jumped in surprise.
"What are you doing?" Qian Fan glared at me.
"I..." I glanced at Cheng Lin and pretended to panic as I hid behind Qian Fan, "I heard a woman's voice outside and thought you... I'm sorry!"
"It's fine." Qian Fan patted my head, "She's not a woman."
I struggled to suppress my laughter.
"Fan Ge, how can you say that about me?" Cheng Lin looked hurt, "I'm clearly a girl."
"Is that so?" Qian Fan said expressionlessly, "But I don't see you as a girl."
"Qian Fan, how can you say that?" I hugged Qian Fan's arm, feigning reproach, "Even if you don't see her as a girl, you shouldn't say it out loud."
"Shut up!" Cheng Lin glared at me.
"Don't be so fierce," I patted Qian Fan's shoulder, "Go on and comfort her."
"Mm." Qian Fan nodded and then looked at Cheng Lin, "Go ahead."
"Hehe." I laughed, "Qian Fan, you're really such a straight guy."
"Isn't that what you like about me?" Qian Fan retorted.
I hugged Qian Fan tightly, rubbing my head against his shoulder. "Yeah, I like you the most."
"You two..." Cheng Lin covered her mouth, her face pale. "You have no shame!"
"What do you mean no shame?" I looked at Cheng Lin innocently. "What are you talking about?"
"You two..." Cheng Lin trembled with anger. "I... I'm leaving!"
"Don't go," I quickly called out to her. "Aren't you going to take a shower? Go ahead and clean up."
Cheng Lin exclaimed, "You... have no shame!"
She cursed and rushed into the bathroom.
I asked, "What's wrong with her?"
"I don't know."
I shook my head. "Probably just a little crazy."
"Yeah," Qian Fan nodded. "That makes sense."
"Qian Fan," I hugged him again. "Tell me a story."
"What story?" Qian Fan looked confused.
"Just tell..." I smiled and glanced toward the bathroom, "a story about a reckless woman who paid the price."
Suddenly, there was a loud noise from the bathroom.
I laughed. "Qian Fan, hurry up and tell it."
Cheng Lin came out of the bathroom, looking disheveled, her eyes filled with disdain, her face shocked, and her expression disgusted.
"You two..." she pointed at me and Qian Fan. "You're so shameless!"
"What did we do?" I looked at her innocently. "What are you talking about?"
"I..." Cheng Lin stammered. "I'm really tired; I'm going back now."
After saying that, she grabbed her bag and was about to leave.
"Aren't you taking your toiletries?" I kindly reminded her.
"I'll come back for it next time!" Cheng Lin ran towards the door and slammed it shut with a bang, as if she was afraid I would stop her.
"Hahahahaha!" I couldn't help but laugh, "Her ability to handle pressure is really poor, isn't it?"
"Did you do that on purpose?" Qian Fan asked me.
"What else could it be?" I chuckled, "She was annoying me, so of course I had to make her feel even worse."
"You," Qian Fan shook his head helplessly.
"What? Feeling sorry for her?" I glared at him.
"No," Qian Fan quickly denied, "I just think... what you did was quite effective."
"Heh." I sneered, "You're just feeling sorry for her."
"I'm not," Qian Fan explained, "I just think what you did..."
"Alright." I interrupted him, "If you're feeling sorry, then go ahead; I won't blame you."
"I..." Qian Fan opened his mouth but ended up saying nothing.
After Cheng Lin left, I bounced excitedly on the bed.
