Wu Rong's expression blanked for a moment, then he furrowed his brows and looked at Ye Ming with disdain. "Are you out of your mind? What are you thinking all day? Do I really like her? She's just a girl the same age as my sister, and she's a silly girl. How could I possibly...?"
"How do you know who I'm talking about?" Ye Ming raised an eyebrow and asked.
Wu Rong choked on his words, his face filled with impatient anger. "Can you stop? I am indeed angry, but it's not for the ridiculous reasons you think. I was tutoring that girl, but I've been busy lately and paused the sessions. Then she just went to find someone else! What does she think I am? My teaching is not something anyone can compare to! This is an insult to me; it undermines my dignity."
Ye Ming stared at Wu Rong in disbelief, his mouth twitching as he asked, "Is this really... why you've been angry since yesterday? Just because of this? You... you don't even understand your own feelings!"
Ye Ming felt a deep concern for his friend, who was destined to be single forever. No wonder he wondered how Wu Rong suddenly became enlightened; it turned out he hadn't figured anything out at all!
Wu Rong's anger only intensified at Ye Ming's indifference. "How can there be two teachers for the same subject? Each teacher has a different teaching framework. If she looks for someone else, it will only disrupt my progress and lead to poor results in the future, which will make her doubt my abilities! If that's the case, she might as well let someone else teach her!"
Ye Ming curiously added, "Then let her choose Long Yong; after all, Long Yong is excellent and can teach her just fine."
Wu Rong was momentarily taken aback, feeling a surge of frustration.
Ye Ming stifled a laugh at Wu Rong's amusing reaction.
Suddenly, Wu Rong stood up, grabbed his belongings, and coldly said, "That just proves she's a big fool!"
After saying that, Wu Rong left without looking back. It wasn't until Wu Rong was far away that Ye Ming burst into laughter.
Ye Ming couldn't help but start betting with himself on when this friend of his, destined for a lonely life, would finally understand his own feelings.

That evening, Long Yong wanted to invite Rao Jie to dinner, but Rao Jie had to decline Long Yong's kindness because she remembered that Professor Wu was waiting at home for her attention.
Before parting ways, Long Yong reminded Rao Jie to think carefully about the tutoring situation.
Rao Jie actually already had an answer in mind, but she couldn't finalize anything with Long Yong before officially discussing it with Wu Rong.
When she got home and opened the door, Rao Jie was startled by the sight in the living room.
Instead of being in his room, Wu Rong was sitting on the couch with a gloomy expression directed at the entrance.
Rao Jie was taken aback by the long-absent imposing presence of the 'demon king.'
"Professor Wu... why are you out here? Are you hungry? Sorry, I'll get right on it..."
Rao Jie quickly set down her backpack and headed for the kitchen to cook, but Wu Rong spoke up to stop her.
"It's still early. Didn't you accumulate a lot of problems you can't solve? I happen to need a break now; take them out and I'll explain!" Wu Rong's voice was almost devoid of any inflection.
Rao Jie felt an inexplicable chill run down her spine as she listened. She looked at Wu Rong in confusion and said, "Professor Wu, this isn't really a good time. If you want to rest, you could watch TV or lie down for a bit..."
"Why all the nonsense? Or do you think you've mastered it?" Wu Rong said, narrowing his eyes dangerously at Rao Jie.
