That evening, Jijun came again. He once again suggested that Li Xiaolu move in with him. This time, Li Xiaolu agreed. She didn't want to make Jijun unhappy. Moreover, she wanted to be with him.
That night, Li Xiaolu packed her things and moved into Jijun's apartment. The two of them lived together like a real couple. Jijun's apartment was spacious, with three rooms. Li Xiaolu initially wanted to have her own space, but Jijun disagreed. He said, "Since we're going to be together, why should we live apart?"
Li Xiaolu laughed at his words and asked, "Then... which room should I sleep in?" Jijun replied, "It's up to you." Li Xiaolu chose the guest room.
As she opened her suitcase and was about to unpack, Jijun suddenly came over and held her hand down. Li Xiaolu was puzzled and asked, "What's wrong?" Jijun looked at her and asked, "Are you really going to sleep in this room?" Li Xiaolu nodded, "Yes." Jijun sighed and said, "Alright then." He released Li Xiaolu's hand and added, "I'll help you unpack."
Li Xiaolu smiled and said, "Thank you." Jijun playfully pinched her cheek and remarked, "No need to be polite with me." Li Xiaolu chuckled in response.
Things were almost packed up, and Li Xiaolu looked at the empty wardrobe, feeling delighted inside. This would be her home from now on. Her and Jijun's home. How wonderful!
That evening, Jijun personally cooked a lavish dinner for Li Xiaolu. She enjoyed her meal immensely. After dinner, they washed the dishes together and then snuggled on the sofa to watch a movie. Li Xiaolu leaned against Jijun's shoulder, holding popcorn in her hands, munching away while watching the film. Jijun wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed her forehead. Li Xiaolu looked up and smiled at him. She felt so happy. She wished time could freeze at that moment.
On the first day that Li Xiaolu moved into Ji Jun Apartment, something surprising happened. After getting up in the morning, she discovered that all her belongings had been moved from the guest room to the master bedroom. Li Xiaolu was shocked. She immediately went to find Jijun. Jijun had just finished showering and was standing in front of the mirror shaving.
Li Xiaolu ran over and hugged his waist tightly, asking, "Why is all my stuff in the master bedroom?" Jijun glanced at her and replied, "What stuff of yours?" Li Xiaolu blinked and said, "My clothes!" Jijun ruffled her hair and said, "From now on, we will live in the same room."
Li Xiaolu couldn't help but ask, "Did you move it?"
Jijun nodded, "Yeah."
Li Xiaolu was astonished, "When did you move it?"
How did she not know at all?
Jijun smiled, "When you were asleep."
Li Xiaolu felt both amused and exasperated, "Why didn't you wake me up to move together?"
Jijun smirked, "Wake you up, and then you'd say I was being a rogue?"
Li Xiaolu couldn't help but laugh.
She remembered that a few days ago, Jijun had indeed said he wanted her to move into his room, but she had refused and even called him a "rogue."
She didn't expect he would still remember that.
Li Xiaolu hugged Jijun, "I didn't mean it like that, I just..."
She didn't know how to express herself, her little face flushed red.
Jijun held her chin gently, "Just what?"
Li Xiaolu bit her lip and said softly, "I just... I'm not ready yet."
Jijun laughed, "What is there to prepare for?"
Li Xiaolu's cheeks turned even redder, "Anyway, I'm just not ready."
Jijun shook his head helplessly, "Alright, I'll wait for you."
Li Xiaolu felt sweet inside.
She stood on her tiptoes and kissed Jijun on the lips, "Thank you, Jijun."
Jijun patted her head gently, "Go wash up."
Li Xiaolu nodded with a smile.
