We had no grand hall or relatives, so we took Heaven and Earth as witnesses and became husband and wife. I originally wanted everything to be simple, but Liu Yu insisted on giving me the best. He busied himself for half a month preparing for the wedding.
Our home was redecorated inside and out by him, adorned with lanterns and colorful silk banners hanging all around. Holding my hand, he helped me out of the room.

I woke up in a big red mandarin duck quilt, and the first thing I saw was Liu Yu's handsome face. He looked especially good today. I smiled and said, "Liu Yu, what have I done to deserve such treatment from you?"
He pulled me into his embrace and replied, "Elder Sister, I should be the one thanking you for allowing me to marry you." Leaning against him, I thought that in this life, I asked for nothing more.

On the other side of the colorful silk banners was the person who captured my heart. Liu Yu had gone shopping in town today and returned with an old friend of mine. This person’s surname was Han and his name was Yi; he was my old brother.
I looked at the person in front of me and almost didn't recognize him. I got up from the recliner and said, "Han Yi, you’re here?"
"Just in time. I'm getting married today, and I must have you accompany me for a drink," he replied.
Seeing me, his eyes were filled with sorrow.
I smiled and said, "Han Yi, what are you doing? I'm doing well now, better than any other day."
Though I may be aging, my heart is full. My current life is more stable and happier than the thirty years before.
Han Yi, seeing me like this, didn't know how to respond. I pulled him down to sit beside me. "Han Yi, today is my wedding; you can't ruin my good fortune."
He hesitated to speak, "Elder Sister, I..."
I understood his feelings. "Han Yi, I know what you want to say. But I'm doing well now; please don't hold regrets for me."
Seeing my response, Han Yi fell silent.
Liu Yu and Han Yi accompanied me as we paid our respects to heaven and earth. Just as the couple's ceremony was completed, I fell ill again.
I fainted in Liu Yu's arms. In my dreams, I still thought of Liu Yu. I feared that Liu Yu would worry if he couldn't find me.
But when I opened my eyes, I was already in a carriage heading back to the capital.
Liu Yu saw that I had woken up and hurriedly came over. "Elder Sister, you're awake?"

Liu Yu replied, "The country doctor couldn't cure Elder Sister; I want to take you back to the palace. The imperial physician is certainly more skilled than a rural doctor."

I looked at Liu Yu in surprise.
I originally thought I had hidden my identity well, but to my surprise, Liu Yu had known it all along.
I laughed, "When did you find out?"
Liu Yu scratched his head and replied, "Elder Sister, I've seen you before; you just didn't notice me."
"I was afraid that if I told you, you would chase me away."
I looked at Liu Yu and couldn't help but smile. "I had no idea you had been watching me for so long."
Liu Yu lowered his gaze and said, "Elder Sister, how could I dare let you know when you looked like that back then?"
I laughed and asked, "Why wouldn't you dare?"
Liu Yu replied, "You were only focused on Shen Moxuan that day. If I had said anything, wouldn't you have killed me with a single sword?"
After saying this, Liu Yu added, "I still don't want to die; I want to see more of Elder Sister!"
