I got up, washed up, and then had breakfast. 0
My life seems to have changed little. 0
But I know that some things are already different. 0
I am no longer the Jiang Huan I used to be. 0
I am no longer a puppet controlled by Han Wen. 0
I have my own thoughts now. 0
I have my own will. 0
I will not be manipulated by anyone anymore. 0

"Your Highness, the Emperor is here." 0
"Yes." 0

The Gu Worm was writhing inside me. 0
I clutched my stomach, shaking all over from the pain. 0
Biqiong came over, supporting me with a worried expression and asked, "My Lady, are you alright?" 0
I shook my head and gritted my teeth, saying, "I'm fine." 0
Biqiong stayed with me for a while before leaving for something else. 0

After she left, I stared blankly at the beam of the room. 0
Later on, Han Wen arrived. 0
She brought a bowl of sweet soup and looked at me with a smile. 0
" Huan, I brought you something good." 0

I stared at the sweet soup in her hand for a long time before slowly smiling. 0
"Thank you, Your Majesty." 0

Han Wen sat beside me and looked at me for a long time before saying with a smile, " Huan, do you remember?" 0
"This is your favorite sweet soup." 0
"In the past, you always said that I made it for you and that you would drink it for a lifetime." 0

At her words, I was taken aback. 0
Sweet soup that I liked? 0
I couldn't help but laugh. 0
"Your Majesty, that was in the past." 0
"Now, I don't like it anymore." 0

Han Wen's expression stiffened. 0
She furrowed her brows and stared at me for a long time before smiling again. 0
" Huan, you still resent me, don't you?" 0

I shook my head and said calmly, "No." 0
"Your Majesty, why would I blame you?" 0
"You are my Wife Ruler; whatever you ask me to do, I will do." 0
"How could I possibly blame you?" 0
Han Wen narrowed her eyes and stared at me for a long time before she smiled. 0
" Huan, you've changed." 0
I shook my head and replied with a smile, "It's not that I've changed." 0
"It's that Your Majesty has changed." 0
"You are no longer the Han Wen of the past." 0
"You are now the Emperor." 0
Han Wen stared at me for a long time without speaking. 0
Her expression was quite unpleasant. 0
Later on, Han Wen left. 0
After she walked out, I sat on the soft couch in a daze. 0
Biqiong sighed and took away the sweet soup. 0
After she left, I continued to stare blankly at the beam of the room. 0
In truth, it wasn't that I no longer enjoyed sweet soup. 0
I just didn't want to be influenced by Han Wen anymore. 0
Jiang Zhizhu burst in with red eyes, shouting, "My dear brother!" 0
He hurriedly ran inside, heading straight for the inner room. 0
But when he saw me standing there completely unharmed, he froze. 0
It seemed he hadn't expected me to be unscathed at all. 0
Han Wen also walked in. 0
The moment she saw me, she too was taken aback. 0
It seemed she hadn't anticipated that I would be perfectly fine either. 0
Jiang Zhizhu quickly regained his composure, smiled mischievously, and said in a sweet voice, "I thought something had happened to you!" 0
"But here you are, completely unharmed." 0
"It really isn't a big deal after all." 0
As he spoke, he hooked his arm around Han Wen's and leaned into her embrace. 0
His demeanor seemed deliberately intended to irritate me in front of Han Wen. 0
Yet strangely enough, I felt no turmoil within myself at all. 0

I am actually not sad at all. 0
Han Wen furrowed her brows, staring at me with a puzzled expression and asked, "What’s going on?" 0
"How did you make this place a mess?" 0
Hearing this, I smiled. 0
A mess? 0
Where? 0
I looked around and found no place that was in disarray. 0
Seeing this, Jiang Zhizhu smiled slightly and said softly, "Brother, you really don’t know." 0
"The most valuable thing in this palace is this piece of jade." 0
"But you broke it." 0
As he spoke, he pointed to the shattered jade pendant on the floor. 0
Upon seeing the pendant, Han Wen's expression changed instantly. 0
She furrowed her brows and asked sharply, "Who broke it?" 0
"Was it you?" 0
I stared at the jade pendant for a long time and suddenly remembered something. 0
This pendant was a gift from her mother when Han Wen was made Empress. 0
It was her treasured jade. 0
Seeing that I remained silent, Jiang Zhizhu smiled again and continued, 0
"Brother, there really isn’t anything valuable in this palace." 0
"This piece of jade is barely worth mentioning." 0
"What a pity that you broke it." 0
Han Wen's expression grew increasingly grim. 0
She furrowed her brows and asked sternly, "Jiang Huan, was it you who broke it?" 0
I came back to my senses and chuckled lightly. 0
