Suddenly, Tentacle burst forth with incredible courage and immense power, instantly wrapping Xia Yangyang in its embrace.
Victor's actions caught Xia Yangyang off guard; before she could react, she found herself in Victor's arms.
At that moment, Xia Yangyang was overwhelmed with thoughts. She remembered she still had online classes to attend and many videos to watch, yet here she was in such a situation, unsure of where to go.
Xia Yangyang returned to a place outside the civic activity area, while Victor spoke in a deep voice, "I have prepared a surprise for you; this is a gift I have carefully arranged."
As he spoke, he extended his pinky finger towards a certain spot, as if it concealed endless secrets.
"So you are better at this; is it multiple choice or this?" Victor's words carried a hint of anticipation.
However, Xia Yangyang had not yet recovered from this sudden turn of events and did not know how to respond to Victor.
At that moment, Victor's once frozen heart seemed to crack slightly due to Xia Yangyang's presence.
He said, "I would be delighted to explore the unknown with you, my dear, but before that, we need to clear away some obstacles that might interfere with us."
Just as Xia Yangyang was still pondering Victor's words, suddenly branches flew out from different angles. Victor's Tentacle moved in response, creating waves and instantly lifting the hidden Special Police into the air.
With just a slight exertion, it seemed he could snap them in half.
Xia Yangyang's expression changed dramatically as she instinctively clutched the nearest Tentacle.
"Don't."
Victor looked down at her, his eyes filled with confusion. Glancing at the person who had fallen to the ground, filled with grievance, he asked, "Don't what?"
Xia Yangyang's heart sank suddenly. After pondering for a moment, she said, "Don't let them see your brutality."
Victor squinted slightly, as if weighing the truth of her words.
Xia Yangyang then smiled and said, "Just throw those spoilsports out."
As soon as she finished speaking, the sound of flesh bursting echoed, and Xia Yangyang's body trembled uncontrollably. She prayed and closed her eyes.
A Tentacle slowly reached toward her, and Victor angrily said, "I'm very unhappy that you smashed my breakfast for others. How are you going to apologize to me, dear?"
Xia Yangyang was being choked and found it hard to breathe. She knew this monster was unpredictable; it seemed that saying just one wrong word could lead her to the same fate as the Special Police.
She contemplated in her heart whether to beg like an ant or to force a smile to please him until he was happy.
But neither option was what she wanted.
"Otherwise, you could secretly go..." Before Xia Yangyang could finish her sentence, Victor froze, then was touched by her actions.
"Xia Yangyang, what are you doing? Aren't you running away? Just kill me and come back!" The grip of the Tentacle behind her made it impossible for Xia Yangyang to escape; one of her legs was tightly ensnared.
The inescapable disaster filled Xia Yangyang with despair. She turned around defiantly and said, "I would rather struggle like them. You need to understand what I'm saying. Being denied by a partner in the ocean is a great humiliation."
Xia Yangyang took a deep breath and continued, "I would rather live stubbornly than be bound by you like this."
With a thud, Xia Yangyang was slammed to the ground, and the next second, a ball of fire was stuffed into her mouth.
Victor's face twisted in anger as he shouted, "You don't love me! I'm telling you, I'm really tired. Your love is as worthless as grass."
It was as if he was trying to regain his dignity, murmuring to himself.
Xia Yangyang's cheeks tingled; she fought back the urge to vomit and turned to Victor, her voice trembling as she said, "If our child is human in the future, would you kill them just as easily?"
Victor's body visibly jolted, and the world seemed to freeze at that moment.
Tears streamed down Xia Yangyang's face as she continued, "If you can't accept that, then our love from the very beginning was a mistake. Just kill me. I don't want to love someone who doesn't love me, and I can't bear to see how you would treat our child with your indifference."
Victor furrowed his brow, looking conflicted.
He said, "No, I won't. My genes are strong and fierce; our offspring will definitely be stronger than me, the Son of the Ocean."
Ultimately, he irritably pulled Xia Yangyang into his embrace and said, "How about I take you to see something interesting? Please forgive my abruptness and offense."
"No, I don't want to forgive," Xia Yangyang refused.
However, Victor would not allow her to decline; he covered her mouth and nose, and a stream of small bubbles escaped from her mouth and nose.
Just as Xia Yangyang struggled to express the differences in human respiratory structures, a soft large bubble enveloped her, and she seemed able to breathe within it.
Victor swam deeper into the waters with her; here there was no winter, only a glimpse of an iceberg above water. The deeper they went, the closer they got to the true nature of the ocean.
Xia Yangyang asked in surprise, "How deep is it? You didn't create all of this yourself, did you?"
Victor replied, "It's just something formed during occasional activities."
Suddenly, a cry came from afar. Victor said, "That's the cry of the ocean, no doubt about it. You are the first to hear it; it's an honor for you."
Xia Yangyang realized clearly that this was a great opportunity for her strategy. She wrapped her arms around Victor's neck and said affectionately, "Your wish is an honor for me."
Victor stared at her for a while, then smiled gently, his voice low: "It seems this is an effective answer that exceeds the reference, but it's still not enough."
Xia Yangyang continued to gaze at him with loving eyes and nodded.
The heartbeat in Victor's chest seemed to be telling something. The soft Xia Yangyang leaned in and kissed him. Victor's body stiffened; he did not understand the meaning of this action.
Xia Yangyang closed her eyes and pulled away after a moment. It seemed that Victor was also touched by the kiss.
Xia Yangyang said, "Victor, I've found that my love for you is a little more than yesterday and a little less than tomorrow."
Victor's breath caught. At her invitation, it seemed he had made some kind of decision in his heart.
He took a deep breath and said, "Darling, I want to give you something very important. You'll definitely like it."
With his company, Xia Yangyang also heard the system notification of increased affection levels and felt a surge of courage in her heart. She didn't know what the future would hold, but at this moment, she still wouldn't give up on the thought of going home.
