Li Xiumei reached out her hand to take the rabbit from Liu Guangcai. Zhao Guangcai frowned and took a step back, avoiding her hand. Li Xiumei was taken aback, and her expression turned somewhat unpleasant. She didn't expect Liu Guangcai to refuse her.
"Brother Zhao, I..." Li Xiumei wanted to argue further, but she was interrupted by Zhang Xiaoxiao.

"Hmph!" Zhang Xiaoxiao sneered. "You may not be talking to me, but you're trying to take my family's rabbit, so of course I have to intervene."
"Your family?" Li Xiumei was stunned for a moment before scoffing. "Zhang Xiaoxiao, stop flattering yourself. This is clearly Brother Zhao's rabbit; how did it become yours?"
"Zhao Guangcai's rabbit is my rabbit," Zhang Xiaoxiao said as she linked her arm with Liu Guangcai's and looked up at him. "Right?"
Zhao Guangcai glanced down at her and replied lightly, "Mm."
Seeing this, Li Xiumei's expression became even more unpleasant. She gritted her teeth and said, "Brother Zhao, you really gave the rabbit to her?"
Liu Guangcai frowned. "Is there a problem?"

"Okay." Zhao Guangcai nodded and walked towards the courtyard with Zhang Xiaoxiao.

Zhang Xiaoxiao stopped and looked back at her. "Not selling."

Zhao Guangcai gave her a faint glance. " Xiaoxiao is right; we are not selling this rabbit."
"What?" Li Xiumei exclaimed, her eyes wide in disbelief. "Brother Zhao, you actually...”
"We plan to braise one and steam the other," Zhang Xiaoxiao said with a grin. "Why don't you stay and have some with us?"
"You..." Li Xiumei trembled with anger. "Zhang Xiaoxiao, you are going too far!"
"How am I going too far?" Zhang Xiaoxiao blinked innocently at her.
"You..." Li Xiumei pointed at Zhang Xiaoxiao. "You eat so much, aren't you afraid of bursting!"
"What I eat is none of your business," Zhang Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes. "Even if I do burst, it's still better than some people who can't even get enough to eat."
"You..." Li Xiumei was left speechless by her retort.
Seeing Li Xiumei's defeated expression, Zhang Xiaoxiao felt delighted.
She looked at Li Xiumei and continued, "Besides, if I can't finish it, I can save it for the next meal. Anyway, I have plenty of ingredients in my fridge."
"You..." Li Xiumei's face turned green with anger as she pointed at Zhang Xiaoxiao. "You... you..."
"What about me?" Zhang Xiaoxiao interrupted impatiently. "If you have nothing else to say, just hurry up and leave."
"I..." Li Xiumei wanted to say something more.
Zhang Xiaoxiao suddenly narrowed her eyes and looked at her. "I warn you, don't point at others casually in the future, or else..."
"Or else what?" Li Xiumei asked instinctively.
Zhang Xiaoxiao smiled as she stepped closer to Li Xiumei and whispered, "Or else I'll chop off your fingers!"
"You..." Li Xiumei quickly pulled back her hand in fright. "You... you dare!"
"Hehe." Zhang Xiaoxiao chuckled lightly. "Do you want to give it a try?"
Li Xiumei stepped back repeatedly, saying, "I... I don't have money; I'm not buying anymore!"
With that, she turned and ran away.
Zhang Xiaoxiao watched her retreating figure and couldn't help but scoff.
With such little courage, how could she dare to challenge her?
After Li Xiumei left, Zhang Xiaoxiao put away her smile.
She lowered her head, staring at her toes as her expression turned cold.
She remembered that when she was little, she was also a very likable girl.
But later, she didn't know when it started, she became the bad child in others' eyes. Her parents didn't like her, her classmates hated her, and even the neighbors looked down on her. Zhang Xiaoxiao couldn't help but smile self-deprecatingly at this thought. She should also be considered a child disliked by adults now.
" Xiaoxiao?" Zhao Guangcai's voice suddenly rang in her ear.
Zhang Xiaoxiao came back to her senses and turned to look at him. "What's wrong?"
Zhao Guangcai frowned, "What's wrong with you?"
"Huh?" Zhang Xiaoxiao was taken aback for a moment. "What do you mean?"
"Your complexion doesn't look good," Liu Guangcai said with concern.
"Oh." Zhang Xiaoxiao realized and smiled lightly. "I'm fine; maybe I'm just a bit tired from arguing with that Li Xiumei earlier."
"Oh." Zhao Guangcai nodded and didn't say anything more.
Zhang Xiaoxiao glanced at the rabbits in his hands. "What do you plan to do with these two rabbits?"
"What do you want to do?" Zhao Guangcai replied.
"Me?" Zhang Xiaoxiao frowned slightly, thought for a moment, then pointed at one of the white rabbits. "Keep this one; you can handle the rest."
"Okay." Zhao Guangcai nodded. "Don't worry; I'll take care of it."
"Mm."
