"Aunt, I respect you, but I also hope you can consider Xiu Mei," Zhao Xiaosong softened his tone and advised. 0

"What do you mean?" Sun Qiuhua questioned. 0

"Xiu Mei is my mother's daughter, and that's an unchangeable fact. Even if you don't acknowledge it, it's a done deal," Zhao Xiaosong said, looking at her. 0

"What are you trying to say?" Sun Qiuhua narrowed her eyes and stared at him. 0

"Xiu Mei is a child of the Zhao Family. She should have grown up in the city, not stuck with you in this poor mountain valley," Zhao Xiaosong stated. 0

"Shut up," Sun Qiuhua scolded angrily. 0

"Aunt, please calm down and let me finish," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0

"What else is there to say?" Sun Qiuhua coldly looked at him and asked. 0

"Xiu Mei was raised by you, and I know how you feel about her. But have you ever thought that if Xiu Mei stays here, what future can she have?" Zhao Xiaosong countered. 0

"What happens to my daughter is none of your business," Sun Qiuhua said dismissively. 0

"Yes, I admit that whether or not Xiu Mei has a future is indeed not my concern. However, if Xiu Mei comes back to the city with me, she can have a better life, receive a better education, and have a bright future ahead," Zhao Xiaosong explained. 0

Sun Qiuhua fell silent. 0

Because Zhao Xiaosong was right; if Xiu Mei stayed in the countryside, she would at most graduate from junior high school, then attend a vocational school or college, find a job, get married, and have children. 0

But if Xiu Mei returned to the city, she could attend a prestigious university and find a respectable job after graduation, even marrying into a Da Fu family. 0

"Aunt, I hope you can seriously consider this; after all, it concerns Xiu Mei's entire life," Zhao Xiaosong said earnestly. 0

"Do you want Xiu Mei to go back to the city?" Sun Qiuhua asked. 0

"Yes," Zhao Xiaosong nodded. 0

"I disagree," Sun Qiuhua refused without hesitation. 0

"Aunt!" Zhao Xiaosong frowned and looked at her irritably. 0

"You don't need to say anything more; I will not agree to let Xiu Mei return to the city," Sun Qiuhua stated firmly. 0

"Aunt, why are you so stubborn?" Zhao Xiaosong said impatiently. 0

"I'm not being stubborn; I have my own considerations," Sun Qiuhua replied calmly. 0

"What are your considerations?" Zhao Xiaosong asked. 0
"This is my business, it has nothing to do with you," Sun Qiuhua replied coldly. 0
"You..." Zhao Xiaosong was speechless with anger. 0
"Please leave, I need to rest," Sun Qiuhua began to usher him out. 0
"Aunt, I advise you to think it over again," Zhao Xiaosong said with a serious expression. 0
"I have nothing to consider," Sun Qiuhua said lightly. 0
"Aunt, even if you don't think about yourself, you should think about Xiu Mei," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
"Of course I will consider Xiu Mei," Sun Qiuhua answered. 0
"Then you should let Xiu Mei return to the city," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
"I won't force Xiu Mei; if she wants to go back with you, then I'll let her go," Sun Qiuhua stated. 0
"Are you serious?" Zhao Xiaosong squinted at her and asked. 0
"Yes," Sun Qiuhua nodded. 0
"Alright, then let's wait until Xiu Mei wakes up to discuss it," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
"Okay," Sun Qiuhua nodded again. 0
"Then I'll take my leave," Zhao Xiaosong said. 0
"Mm-hmm," Sun Qiuhua responded. 0
Zhao Xiaosong took a deep look at her before turning to leave. 0
Sun Qiuhua stood in the yard, watching Zhao Xiaosong's figure gradually fade away, a conflicted expression appearing on her face. 0
In truth, she understood everything Zhao Xiaosong had said. 0
She just couldn't accept it. 0
After raising her daughter for over ten years, why should she return her to the Zhao Family? 0
Moreover, since her sister had entrusted Xiu Mei to her in the first place, she should have been prepared never to see Xiu Mei again. 0
Now that her sister suddenly wanted to take Xiu Mei back, how could it be that simple? 0
However, Zhao Xiaosong was right about one thing; if Xiu Mei stayed in the countryside forever, she indeed wouldn't have much of a future. 0

Sun Qiuhua sighed at the thought. Of course, she hoped her daughter would be successful, but she was also reluctant to let her daughter leave her side. What should she do? Sun Qiuhua fell into deep contemplation. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao listened intently from next door. It turned out that Li Xiumei was not Sun Qiuhua's biological daughter. No wonder Sun Qiuhua was so harsh on Li Xiumei in the original plot; they had no blood relation at all. However, the male lead was also not Sun Qiuhua's biological child. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao suddenly realized. She recalled the original plot carefully and discovered that the male lead was actually Li Xiumei's brother, and he was her biological brother. This meant that the male lead was a child adopted by Sun Qiuhua from an orphanage. Wow, this relationship is too complicated. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao couldn't help but facepalm. Moreover, it seemed that the original plot mentioned that the Supporting Female Character was the male lead's fiancée, a betrothal arranged by his parents while they were still alive. So, by this logic, the Supporting Female Character and Li Xiumei were actually cousins? This web of relationships was even more dramatic than a soap opera. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao couldn't help but exclaim in surprise. However, the original plot did not mention who Li Xiumei's biological parents were; it only stated that they had died and that Li Xiumei was adopted by Sun Qiuhua. Could it be that there were some secrets regarding Li Xiumei's biological parents? 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao's curiosity was piqued. After thinking for a while without coming to any conclusions, she decided to stop pondering. After all, if the original plot didn't clarify these matters, how could she possibly figure them out? It would be better to save some brain cells. 0
