Chen Shuying looked at her son's red hands and his struggling, crying figure, feeling heartbroken. 0

"Granny Wang, is this your son? Why are you grabbing him?" Chen Shuying questioned angrily. 0

"I... I'm his grandmother. I want to take my grandson home," Granny Wang said defiantly. 0

"Grandmother? Hah!" Chen Shuying snorted coldly and continued, "Weren't you quite arrogant before? Didn't you look down on us orphans? How come you're a grandmother now?" 0

"I... I'm Xiao Liang's biological grandmother," Granny Wang argued. 0

"Biological grandmother? Hah! Do you even deserve to be a grandmother?" Chen Shuying mocked. 0

"You..." Granny Wang was left speechless. 0

"I warn you, let Xiao Liang go quickly, or I won't be polite," Chen Shuying threatened. 0

"I... I won't let go. What can you do to me?" Granny Wang said stubbornly. 0

"Then I'll fight you," Chen Shuying declared as she charged forward. 0

Seeing her rush over, Granny Wang was startled and loosened her grip on Xiao Liang slightly. 0

Xiao Liang took the opportunity to break free from her hold and ran behind his mother. 0

"Grandma, you hurt me so much," Xiao Liang cried. 0

"Xiao Liang, be good. Grandma didn't mean it," Granny Wang explained. 0

"You're lying; you did it on purpose," Xiao Liang accused. 0

"I... I really didn't mean to," Granny Wang stammered. 0

"I don't believe you; you're a bad person," Xiao Liang said resentfully. 0

"Xiao Liang..." Granny Wang wanted to explain further but was interrupted by Chen Shuying. 0

"Xiao Liang, be good, don't cry. Mommy will take you to eat something delicious," Chen Shuying comforted him. 0

"Okay," Xiao Liang replied softly. 0

Chen Shuying held her child and prepared to leave. 0

"Thank you, uncles and brothers," Chen Shuying expressed her gratitude. 0

"It's nothing, Sister Chen. You should take the child home," an uncle said. 0

"Yes, thank you all," Chen Shuying thanked them again. 0

After speaking, she carried the child and walked towards the Wang family. The fellow villagers, seeing that there was nothing more to discuss, prepared to return to the Wang family to continue eating. Just then, Wang Changgui appeared. 0

Seeing his mother being bullied in front of everyone made him furious. "You shameless woman, how dare you bully my mom? Just wait until I beat you to death!" Wang Changgui said angrily. 0

"What... what do you want?" Chen Shuying asked fearfully. 0

"What do I want? Hmph!" Wang Changgui snorted coldly and then raised his hand to slap Chen Shuying. 0

Chen Shuying turned her head away from the slap, her face burning with pain. She covered her face with her hand, glaring at Wang Changgui, and gritted her teeth as she said, "You bastard, how dare you hit me." 0

"So what if I hit you?" Wang Changgui said disdainfully. 0

"You..." Chen Shuying was so angry that she couldn't find her words. 0

Wang Changgui felt much better seeing her angry expression. "Mom, are you okay?" He turned to look at Granny Wang and asked. 0

"I'm fine, son. Luckily you arrived in time," Granny Wang said gratefully. 0

"Mm." Wang Changgui responded. 0

"Son, you have to stand up for your mom," Granny Wang pleaded. 0

"Don't worry, Mom. I won't let you suffer in vain," Wang Changgui promised. 0

"Mm." Granny Wang replied. 0

The two of them sang in harmony, pushing all the blame onto Chen Shuying. Listening to their conversation made Chen Shuying furious enough to explode. "You... you are so shameless," she said angrily. 0

"So what if we are shameless? What can you do about it?" Wang Changgui said proudly. 0

"You..." Chen Shuying was so enraged that she couldn't speak. 0

At this moment, some fellow villagers could no longer stand by and watch. "You are going too far! Sister Chen has already been bullied like this; what more do you want?" one aunt said angrily. 0

"Exactly! You are really going overboard," another aunt echoed. 0

"Hmph! What are you all? How dare you meddle in our affairs?" Wang Changgui scoffed. 0

"You..." Aunt was left speechless. 0

"Hmph! You country bumpkins, I spit on you." Wang Changgui continued to mock. 0

"You bastard." One of the older brothers was provoked and swung his fist at Wang Changgui. 0

"Ouch." Wang Changgui yelped as he was hit. 0

"You... you country bumpkins actually dare to hit me," Wang Changgui said angrily. 0

"So what if we do?" another older brother replied. 0

"You... you bunch of bastards." Wang Changgui was furious. 0

"Hmph!" The crowd snorted coldly and then began to beat up Wang Changgui. 0

"You... stop it!" Granny Wang rushed forward to intervene when she saw her son being attacked. 0

"You old hag, get lost." One of the older brothers said. 0

"You... you bastards, let go of my son!" Granny Wang shouted. 0

"Hmph! Your son has a filthy mouth, we're just teaching him a lesson for his parents." An older man said. 0

"You... please stop!" Granny Wang pleaded anxiously. 0

"Get out of the way, or we'll hit you too," one of the older brothers threatened. 0

"You... you bastards." Granny Wang was desperate but felt powerless. 0

She turned to look at Chen Shuying and found her watching the commotion while holding a child. 0

"It's all your fault, you wretched woman. I'm going to kill you," Granny Wang said angrily. 0

"What do you want?" Chen Shuying asked warily. 0

"I'm going to kill you," Granny Wang said as she lunged at her. 0

"Ah!" Chen Shuying was startled and screamed. 0

She hurriedly tried to dodge to the side but was still grabbed by her hair by Granny Wang. 0

"It hurts, let go of me," Chen Shuying cried out in pain. 0
