"He is going on a trip soon," Zhang Xiaoxiao explained.
"A trip? Where to?" Uncle Luo asked curiously.
"I don't know; he didn't say," Zhang Xiaoxiao shook her head.
"Why aren't you two communicating?" Uncle Luo said, feeling exasperated.
"I..." Zhang Xiaoxiao began to explain.
"Has he met someone in town recently?" Uncle Luo speculated.
"It seems so," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied uncertainly.
"No wonder; I was wondering why he keeps going to town lately," Uncle Luo said, realizing.
"He said he made a new friend," Zhang Xiaoxiao added.
"What kind of friend?" Uncle Luo asked, intrigued.
"I don't know either," Zhang Xiaoxiao shook her head.
"Alright then," Uncle Luo said, disappointed.
"Uncle Luo, do you have anything else to do?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked.
"Nothing else; I'm heading back," Uncle Luo replied.
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao responded.
Then, Uncle Luo left.
Zhang Xiaoxiao turned and went home.
Upon returning home, Zhang Xiaoxiao found Zhao Guangcai already back.
At that moment, Zhao Guangcai was in the yard making dog leashes.
"Zhao Guangcai, what are you doing?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked curiously.
"I'm going to the dog farm to bring back a few Wolfdogs for guarding the house," Zhao Guangcai said.
"Guarding the house?" Zhang Xiaoxiao exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, I'm going to G Province for a while, and I don't feel comfortable leaving you alone at home," Zhao Guangcai explained.
"So you want to raise a few dogs?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked in astonishment.
"Yes," Zhao Guangcai nodded.
"Should we build a doghouse?" Zhang Xiaoxiao suggested.
"Let's talk about that after I bring the dogs back," Zhao Guangcai replied.
"Alright," Zhang Xiaoxiao agreed.
"You can go play for now; I'll be done soon," Zhao Guangcai said.
"I'll help you," Zhang Xiaoxiao offered enthusiastically.
"No need; I can manage by myself," Zhao Guangcai declined politely.
"Okay then," Zhang Xiaoxiao said helplessly.
After that, she went to find Xiao Liang to play with.
Two days later, Zhao Guangcai really did bring back a few Wolfdogs.
"Zhao Guangcai, these dogs are so fierce," Zhang Xiaoxiao said fearfully.
"Don't be afraid, they won't bite," Zhao Guangcai reassured her.
"How do you know?" Zhang Xiaoxiao questioned skeptically.
"I just know," Zhao Guangcai replied confidently.
"Alright," Zhang Xiaoxiao reluctantly accepted.
"Come on, I'll take you to see them," Zhao Guangcai invited.
"I'm not going, I'm scared," Zhang Xiaoxiao resisted.
"Don't be afraid, they're all locked in the shed," Zhao Guangcai encouraged.
"Really?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked uncertainly.
"Yes," Zhao Guangcai nodded.
"Okay then," Zhang Xiaoxiao hesitated.
Then, Zhao Guangcai took Zhang Xiaoxiao to the shed.
At that moment, five Wolfdogs were locked inside the shed. They had not yet adapted to the new environment and immediately stood up alertly when they saw someone enter.
"Awoo..." the Wolfhounds warned.
"Stop barking," Zhao Guangcai commanded.
Surprisingly, the Wolfhounds actually fell silent.
"Zhao Guangcai, they are so obedient," Zhang Xiaoxiao exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, they are very smart," Zhao Guangcai praised.
"Where did you get them?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked curiously.
"I bought them from a friend," Zhao Guangcai answered.
"When did you have a friend who raises dogs?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked in astonishment.
"A friend I met recently," Zhao Guangcai replied lightly.
"Oh," Zhang Xiaoxiao did not press further.
"I'm going to put leashes on them," Zhao Guangcai said.
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao nodded.
Then, Zhao Guangcai walked over to put leashes on the Wolfhounds.
To her surprise, the Wolfhounds did not resist; instead, they allowed Zhao Guangcai to put leashes on them very gently.
"Zhao Guangcai, why aren't they resisting?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked curiously.
"They know I won't hurt them," Zhao Guangcai explained.
"They're really smart," Zhang Xiaoxiao admired.
"Yes," Zhao Guangcai agreed.
"Let's take them out," Zhang Xiaoxiao suggested.
"Alright," Zhao Guangcai responded.
Then, Zhao Guangcai led the five large Wolfdogs out of the shed, while Zhang Xiaoxiao followed at a distance.
After bringing the Wolfhounds to the yard, Zhao Guangcai went to the kitchen to prepare food for them.
"Zhang Xiaoxiao, Zhao Guangcai, what are you doing?" the system suddenly spoke up.
"He is going to G Province," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied.
"His trip to G Province means he is going to follow the original plotline," the system said.
"I know," Zhang Xiaoxiao said calmly.
"Aren't you worried?" the system asked in confusion.
"Worried about what?" Zhang Xiaoxiao replied, puzzled.
"Worried that he will leave you," the system stated.
"He won't," Zhang Xiaoxiao said confidently.
"Why not?" the system asked curiously.
"Because he is Zhao Guangcai," Zhang Xiaoxiao asserted firmly.
"Alright then," the system said helplessly.
"And his trip to G Province is beneficial for us too," Zhang Xiaoxiao added.
"What benefits?" the system inquired with interest.
"If he goes to G Province, it will advance the plot, and we can complete our tasks faster," Zhang Xiaoxiao explained.
"That makes sense," the system agreed.
"So we should support him," Zhang Xiaoxiao concluded.
"Mm-hmm," the system responded.
At that moment, Zhao Guangcai returned with a large bowl of food.
The Wolfhounds immediately ran up excitedly upon seeing Zhao Guangcai.
"Woof woof..." the Wolfhounds whined playfully.
"Are you hungry?" Zhao Guangcai asked gently.
"Woof woof..." the Wolfhounds nodded eagerly.
"Go ahead and eat," Zhao Guangcai said as he placed the food in front of the Wolfhounds.
"Thank you, Master," the Wolfhounds expressed their gratitude.
