While Zhang Xiaoxiao was selecting books in the bookstore, she overheard some discussions behind her. 0
"Do you think she looks like someone who has read books?" 0
"Probably not. Just look at her; she doesn't seem like a studious person." 0
"Oh, this girl is quite pretty, what a pity." 0
Zhang Xiaoxiao took a deep breath, slowly turned around, and looked at the group of young people behind her. 0
"You think I don't look like a bookish person because you don't know me, but I'm not as superficial as you imagine," Zhang Xiaoxiao said in a deep voice. 0
"How do you know what we are thinking?" the leader of the young men asked, his face reddening. 0
"Because your expressions have already betrayed you," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied calmly. 0
"I... we won't think like that anymore," the young man quickly apologized. 0
"Everyone has the right to read; you shouldn't judge someone based on their appearance or profession. Do you understand?" Zhang Xiaoxiao educated them. 0
"We understand," the young men said, looking down. 0
"I hope you truly understand," Zhang Xiaoxiao said seriously. 0
"We really do," the young men replied earnestly. 0
Zhang Xiaoxiao nodded in satisfaction and turned back to continue selecting books. 0
Zhao Guangcai and Shih Sheng stood by, quietly watching Zhang Xiaoxiao. 0
"This girl is impressive," Shih Sheng remarked. 0
"Yeah," Zhao Guangcai said proudly. 0
"Her knowledge is profound," Shih Sheng admired. 0
"Indeed," Zhao Guangcai said with pride. 0
"Her demeanor is also very refined," Shih Sheng praised. 0
"Yes," Zhao Guangcai said boastfully. 0
"Why are you so happy?" Shih Sheng asked curiously. 0
"My wife is so outstanding; of course, I'm happy," Zhao Guangcai replied matter-of-factly. 0
"But she hasn't married you yet," Shih Sheng pointed out skeptically. 0
"She will marry me sooner or later," Zhao Guangcai said confidently. 0

"Are you really that confident?" Shih Sheng questioned. 0

"I trust my instincts," Zhao Guangcai asserted. 0

"Guangcai, sometimes instincts can be misleading," Shih Sheng said, patting Zhao Guangcai on the shoulder. 0

"My instincts are never wrong," Zhao Guangcai insisted. 0

"Let's hope so," Shih Sheng sighed. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao approached with several books, all suitable for Xiao Liang's studies. 0

"Have you made your selection?" Zhao Guangcai asked gently. 0

"Yes," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied with a smile. 0

"These books are all good choices," Shih Sheng praised. 0

"Thank you," Zhang Xiaoxiao said politely. 0

"Zhang Xiaoxiao, have you read many books?" Shih Sheng asked curiously. 0

"I studied in Coastal Province and just graduated from university last year," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied honestly. 0

"What!" Shih Sheng exclaimed in shock. 0

"Wow!" one of the young men nearby gasped. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao and Zhao Guangcai turned their heads simultaneously to look at the group of young men. 0

"Why are you still here?" Shih Sheng asked in surprise. 0

"We..." the young men stammered. 0

"Do you have something to say?" Zhao Guangcai said coldly. 0

"We just wanted to ask if she is really a university student," one young man mustered the courage to ask. 0

"Yes," Zhao Guangcai said proudly. 0

"Oh my gosh!" the young men exclaimed in astonishment. 0

"Can we leave now?" Zhao Guangcai asked, displeased. 0

"Yes, yes," the young men hurriedly replied. 0

Zhao Guangcai took Zhang Xiaoxiao's hand and walked straight out of the bookstore, with the young men quietly following behind. 0

"These young guys today really have high spirits," Shih Sheng shook his head and remarked. 0

"Aren't you the same?" Zhao Guangcai suddenly stopped and turned to address the young men. 0

"I... we..." the young men explained in a flustered manner. 0

"No need to explain, we all understand," Zhao Guangcai said indifferently. 0
"We..." the young man wanted to say something more. 0
"You should think about how to improve yourselves," Zhao Guangcai interrupted the young man and then pulled Zhang Xiaoxiao away. 0
A few young people stood in place, looking regretful and disappointed. 0
"They seem really sad," Zhang Xiaoxiao said, glancing back. 0
"Don't worry about them," Zhao Guangcai replied calmly. 0
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao said obediently. 0
"Don't help others out of trouble so easily in the future," Zhao Guangcai advised. 0
"Why?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked, blinking her eyes. 0
"Because I get jealous," Zhao Guangcai said seriously. 0
"Hehe," Zhang Xiaoxiao laughed. 0
"What are you laughing at?" Zhao Guangcai asked, confused. 0
"You are so cute," Zhang Xiaoxiao teased. 0
"I..." Zhao Guangcai's face turned red instantly. 0
"Why are you so easily embarrassed?" Zhang Xiaoxiao said helplessly. 0
"I... I just..." Zhao Guangcai stammered. 0
"Just what?" Zhang Xiaoxiao pressed on. 0
"I just like you," Zhao Guangcai gathered his courage to say. 0
"Mm," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied softly. 0
"What... what's wrong with you?" Zhao Guangcai asked anxiously. 0
"I'm a bit touched," Zhang Xiaoxiao confessed. 0
"Really?" Zhao Guangcai said in surprise. 0
"Mm," Zhang Xiaoxiao nodded vigorously. 0
"That's good," Zhao Guangcai sighed in relief. 0
"Why are you so nice to me?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked curiously. 0
"Because I love you," Zhao Guangcai said earnestly. 0
"I love you too," Zhang Xiaoxiao said, feeling moved. 0

Two people gazed at each other, and the air was filled with a sweet scent. 0
"Ahem." The young man nearby pretended to cough a few times. 0
"Oh, we should go." Zhang Xiaoxiao hurriedly pushed Zhao Guangcai away. 0
"I'll walk you," Zhao Guangcai said reluctantly. 0
"No need, we agreed to meet at the village entrance," Zhang Xiaoxiao shook her head. 0
"Alright then," Zhao Guangcai replied, disappointed. 0
"I'll go first; be careful on your way," Zhang Xiaoxiao reminded him. 0
"I will, and you should take care of yourself too," Zhao Guangcai said with concern. 0
"Mm." Zhang Xiaoxiao replied gently. 0
Zhao Guangcai looked deeply at Zhang Xiaoxiao one last time before turning to leave. 0
Zhang Xiaoxiao watched Zhao Guangcai's retreating figure, her heart filled with warmth. 0
She believed that one day, she would completely capture this man's heart. 0
"Zhang Xiaoxiao," the young man beside her called out. 0
"What is it?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked in confusion. 0
"Um... we..." the young man hesitated. 0
"Do you have something to ask?" Zhang Xiaoxiao said patiently. 0
"Can we ask you some questions?" the young man asked hopefully. 0
"Of course," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied cheerfully. 0
"That's great!" the young man exclaimed excitedly. 0
"If you have any questions, feel free to come to me," Zhang Xiaoxiao offered generously. 0
"Thank you," the young man said gratefully. 0
"You're welcome," Zhang Xiaoxiao smiled. 0
A few young people left excitedly, and Zhang Xiaoxiao also turned to walk towards the village entrance. 0
