"Is that so?" Zhang Xiaoxiao said, realizing. 0
"Yeah," Xiao Liang nodded. 0
"You just said your mom went to work at the factory?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked. 0
"That's right," Xiao Liang replied. 0
"What time does your mom get off work?" Zhang Xiaoxiao continued to ask. 0
"Mom gets off work at seven o'clock tonight," Xiao Liang answered. 0
"Oh, she gets off at seven," Zhang Xiaoxiao murmured. 0
"Sister, let's continue reading," Xiao Liang suggested. 0
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao agreed happily. 0
Xiao Liang sat next to Zhang Xiaoxiao, listening attentively as she told him stories from the book. 0
"Xiao Liang, where did I leave off?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked. 0
"Sister, you were talking about the puppy finding its friend," Xiao Liang replied. 0
"Oh, I remember now," Zhang Xiaoxiao said with a sudden realization. 0
"Sister, please continue," Xiao Liang urged. 0
"Alright," Zhang Xiaoxiao responded with a smile. 0
Zhang Xiaoxiao continued telling the story to Xiao Liang, who listened very seriously and occasionally laughed out loud. 0
"Wife," Zhao Guangcai called as he walked over. 0
"Guangcai, did you finish washing the dishes?" Zhang Xiaoxiao turned to him. 0
"Yeah," Zhao Guangcai nodded. 0
"Sister, brother-in-law," Xiao Liang called softly. 0
"When did you arrive, Xiao Liang?" Zhao Guangcai asked in surprise. 0
"I just got here a little while ago," Xiao Liang said honestly. 0
"Wife, why didn't you tell me Xiao Liang was here?" Zhao Guangcai frowned. 0
"I forgot," Zhang Xiaoxiao said sheepishly. 0
"Xiao Liang, where did your sister leave off?" Zhao Guangcai asked. 0
"Sister was talking about the puppy's friend going to find it," Xiao Liang replied. 0

"Guangcai, come sit down and listen," Zhang Xiaoxiao invited. 0
"Okay," Zhao Guangcai agreed happily. 0
Zhao Guangcai sat next to Zhang Xiaoxiao, accompanying her as they told a story to Xiao Liang. 0
"Xiao Liang, next time you come, remember to remind us out loud," Zhang Xiaoxiao said. 0
"I understand, sister," Xiao Liang replied obediently. 0
"That's more like it," Zhang Xiaoxiao said with satisfaction. 0
"Xiao Liang, are you thirsty?" Zhao Guangcai asked with concern. 0
"I'm not thirsty, brother-in-law," Xiao Liang replied politely. 0
"If you get thirsty, just let me know, and I'll get you some water," Zhao Guangcai said gently. 0
"I understand, brother-in-law," Xiao Liang assured him. 0
"Let's continue the story," Zhang Xiaoxiao said. 0
"Okay," Zhao Guangcai and Xiao Liang replied in unison. 0
The three of them sat together, continuing the story, creating a very warm atmosphere. 0
When the sun began to set, it was time for Xiao Liang to go home. 0
"Sister, brother-in-law, I'm going home," Xiao Liang said politely. 0
"Okay, be careful on your way back," Zhang Xiaoxiao reminded him. 0
"I understand, sister," Xiao Liang replied obediently. 0
"Come on, I'll walk you home," Zhao Guangcai offered. 0
"No need, brother-in-law, I can go back by myself," Xiao Liang declined. 0
"Are you really sure?" Zhao Guangcai asked skeptically. 0
"I'm really sure, brother-in-law," Xiao Liang assured him again. 0
"Alright then," Zhao Guangcai conceded. 0
"Sister, brother-in-law, I'm leaving now," Xiao Liang waved goodbye. 0
"Be careful on your way back," Zhang Xiaoxiao reminded him once more. 0
"I understand, sister," Xiao Liang replied obediently. 0
Xiao Liang turned and left, while Zhang Xiaoxiao and Zhao Guangcai watched him until he disappeared from sight. 0
"Wife, I'm going to make dinner now," Zhao Guangcai said. 0
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied obediently. 0

Zhao Guangcai walked into the kitchen and started to get busy. Zhang Xiaoxiao stayed in the yard, continuing to read her book. 0

In the evening, Zhang Xiaoxiao and Zhao Guangcai sat in the yard playing games. After they got tired, they sat on a bench, admiring the night sky. 0

"Guangcai, have you thought about what you want to do in G Province?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked. 0

"I want to engage in goods trading," Zhao Guangcai replied. 0

"What does that mean?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked, confused. 0

"It means wholesale goods and then sell them," Zhao Guangcai explained. 0

"That's a good idea," Zhang Xiaoxiao agreed. 0

"I think so too," Zhao Guangcai said happily. 0

"Then you must seize the opportunity," Zhang Xiaoxiao encouraged. 0

"I will," Zhao Guangcai affirmed. 0

"When the time comes, we can work hard together to make money," Zhang Xiaoxiao looked forward to it. 0

"Yes, let's work hard together to make money," Zhao Guangcai echoed. 0

"I really hope that day comes soon," Zhang Xiaoxiao longed for it. 0

"It will definitely come," Zhao Guangcai assured her. 0

"It's getting chilly; let's go back inside," Zhang Xiaoxiao suggested. 0

"Okay," Zhao Guangcai responded. 0

The two stood up and walked into the house together. 0

Two days later, Zhao Guangcai and Shih Sheng boarded the train. 0

"Wife, when you get home, make sure to take good care of yourself," Zhao Guangcai advised. 0

"Don't worry, I will," Zhang Xiaoxiao promised. 0

"If I make money, I'll call you and have you come over," Zhao Guangcai said. 0

"Okay, I'll wait for your call," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied obediently. 0

"I'm getting on the train now," Zhao Guangcai said reluctantly. 0

"Mm," Zhang Xiaoxiao nodded gently. 0

Zhao Guangcai and Shih Sheng boarded the train and found their seats. The train was about to depart, and Zhao Guangcai leaned out of the window, waving at Zhang Xiaoxiao, saying, "Wife, you should go back." 0

"I'll wait for you to come back," Zhang Xiaoxiao shouted loudly. 0

"I promise I'll be back soon," Zhao Guangcai assured her. 0

The train slowly started moving, and Zhang Xiaoxiao ran a few steps after it before finally stopping. She watched the train fade into the distance, feeling an inexplicable sadness in her heart. 0

"Don't be sad," the system spoke up. 0

"Who’s sad?" Zhang Xiaoxiao retorted defiantly. 0

"You're lying; you’re clearly very sad," the system pointed out. 0

"I’m not," Zhang Xiaoxiao insisted stubbornly. 0

"Your feelings are written all over your face," the system commented sarcastically. 0

"Just leave me alone," Zhang Xiaoxiao said unhappily. 0

"I just want to tell you that he has already left; you shouldn't stay at the train station," the system reminded her. 0

"I know," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied glumly. 0

"Then hurry up and leave," the system urged. 0

"I want to stay a little longer," Zhang Xiaoxiao said quietly. 0

"Staying here won't help," the system bluntly shot back. 0

"I just want to be alone for a while; is that too much to ask?" Zhang Xiaoxiao raised her voice. 0

"Fine, do as you wish," the system said helplessly. 0

Zhang Xiaoxiao stood on the platform, looking at the empty tracks, feeling a mix of emotions in her heart. After a while, she finally turned to leave. 0

She exited the train station and made her way to town. She flagged down an ox cart and climbed aboard. Half an hour later, Zhang Xiaoxiao returned to the village. Upon hearing that Zhao Guangcai had left, the villagers all gathered at the village entrance to wait for Zhang Xiaoxiao's return, eager to ask her what had happened. 0
