The next day, Zhang Xiaoxiao woke up early. She stepped outside and saw her dogs staring at Punk. Zhang Xiaoxiao did not approach but shouted loudly.
"Ah..." Zhang Xiaoxiao exclaimed in fear. She pretended to be terrified and ran out, heading straight to the most populated area of the village.
"Help... someone help me..." Zhang Xiaoxiao cried out. As she reached the crowd, the villagers heard her and came out.
"Xiaoxiao, what happened?" Chen Shuying asked with concern.
"Xiaoxiao, what's wrong?" Aunt Lihua inquired anxiously.
"Xiaoxiao, what’s going on?" Widow Li at the village entrance asked.
"There’s a man in my house, and I’m too scared to go back," Zhang Xiaoxiao said fearfully.
"What?" Chen Shuying exclaimed in surprise.
"How could that be?" Aunt Lihua said, astonished.
"Did you see what he looked like?" Widow Li asked.
"I didn’t see clearly; I only know he’s a man, and I’m so scared," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied, trembling.
"Don’t be afraid; we’ll go back with you now," Chen Shuying assured her.
"Exactly, how dare he do such a thing in broad daylight? It’s outrageous," Aunt Lihua added.
"Let’s go back and take a look," Widow Li suggested.
"Okay, thank you all," Zhang Xiaoxiao expressed her gratitude.
"Let’s go," Chen Shuying said.
"Mm-hmm," Zhang Xiaoxiao responded.
Zhang Xiaoxiao led the group back home, feeling extremely happy inside. She knew her plan had succeeded.
"It’s just ahead," Zhang Xiaoxiao said.
"Let’s go over there," Chen Shuying replied.
"Alright," Aunt Lihua agreed.
The group walked forward together; the morning fog was thin but still obscured their vision. Zhang Xiaoxiao guided them through the mist until they arrived at her home.
"It’s inside there," Zhang Xiaoxiao pointed out.
"Let’s go in," Chen Shuying said.
"Okay," Aunt Lihua agreed.
Everyone walked in together, and Zhang Xiaoxiao felt extremely happy inside. Punk, your retribution has come.
"Quick, look, where is he?" Widow Li said.
"Ah!" Chen Shuying exclaimed.
"I really didn't expect this," Aunt Lihua said in surprise.
"How did he end up here?" Chen Shuying asked.
"Isn't it because..." Widow Li began.
"Alright, let's carry him out," Aunt Lihua said.
"Okay," Chen Shuying replied.
A few strong young men lifted Punk up. Zhang Xiaoxiao secretly rejoiced; Punk, your good days are over. They all carried Punk to the village chief's doorstep, ready for the chief to deal with him.
"Open the door," one man shouted.
"Open the door," another man echoed.
"I'm coming," the village chief called out.
"This is good," one man said.
"Yeah," another man agreed.
The village chief opened the door and saw several young men carrying Punk to his doorstep.
"What...?" The village chief was startled and nearly lost his breath.
"Old man, are you alright?" the Village Head's Wife hurriedly stepped forward to pat his back and help him regain his composure.
"What happened? Why are you all at my doorstep so early in the morning, and why did you bring Punk here?" the village chief asked.
"Chief, last night Punk tried to harass Zhang Xiaoxiao and ended up getting bitten by a dog raised by the Zhao Family," one man explained.
"That's right, Chief, this punk has been bothering many women in our village for a long time; now he's finally getting what he deserves," another man added.
"Chief, what do you think we should do?" one man asked.
"Chief, I think we should just kick him out to prevent him from harming the women in our village," another man suggested.
"Yes, Chief, we can't keep him around," one man said.
"Chief, you have to stand up for us," another man urged.
"Alright, I understand; let me think about it," the village chief said with a frown.
"Good, Chief, please consider it carefully," one man replied.
"Yes, Chief, he's not a good person at all," another man added.
"I know what I'm doing," the village chief stated firmly.
"Alright," one man responded.
"Let's go," a man said.
"Okay," another man replied.
A few people left Punk at the village chief's doorstep and then departed.
As everyone left, Zhang Xiaoxiao felt extremely happy inside.
She had achieved her goal.
"Come on, Xiaoxiao, let's go eat at my house," Chen Shuying said.
"No need, Shuying sister, I can just go home and cook," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied.
"Enough, don't be polite with me," Chen Shuying insisted.
"Alright, then I'll trouble you, Shuying sister," Zhang Xiaoxiao said.
"Not a trouble at all, let's go," Chen Shuying said.
"Mm," Zhang Xiaoxiao responded.
The two left together, and Zhang Xiaoxiao felt very pleased inside.
Chen Shuying took Zhang Xiaoxiao home, and Zhang Xiaoxiao was in high spirits.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Punk also woke up.
He woke up to find himself lying on the ground.
"Ouch..." Punk groaned in pain as he touched his lower body.
"What a bastard," a man said.
"Yeah, he really deserves it," another man replied.
"I never expected him to end up like this," one man remarked.
"Yeah, it's quite satisfying," another man added.
"He really deserves it," one man repeated.
"Indeed, he really deserves it," another echoed.
Listening to the voices around him, Punk felt a surge of anger inside, but there was nothing he could do about it now.
