"Yeah, could Grandpa be secretly buying health supplements behind our backs? I feel like when Aunt Qin wasn't around, the money didn't get spent so fast!"

I first wandered around the neighborhood for a bit. When I saw some relatives go in, I followed them inside. Just as I was about to enter the house, I saw Chen Zhaoyang trying to escape through the back door.
There was no way I would let him get away. I shouted, "Aunt Qin, your son is here too!"
Upon hearing my voice, Chen Zhaoyang froze in his tracks. Qin Zhili, who was already feeling guilty facing my family's unexpected visit, suddenly didn't know what to say when she heard me; her smile froze on her face.
"Come over and sit down; make yourself at home!"
I said with a forced smile.
Second Aunt heard what I said and looked at Chen Zhaoyang as he walked over, wearing home slippers. She sarcastically remarked, "Looks like he really does feel at home; those slippers are quite nice!"
Qin Zhili understood the meaning of these words and awkwardly lowered her head, not daring to speak.
Chen Zhaoyang looked like a typical thug. He couldn't swallow his anger, but when he saw my two cousins who were taller than him, he could only force himself to hold it in.
"Ah, what brings you here?" Grandpa walked out of the room and, upon seeing a large group of people sitting in the living room, his expression turned sour.
"Dad, have you been scammed recently? Is over ten thousand a month for food not enough?" Aunt got straight to the point without beating around the bush.
As soon as Grandpa heard that they were questioning him about where his money was going, he immediately frowned and said, "What do you mean by that? Are you worried about me spending your money?"
"No, Grandpa, we are concerned that you might have been scammed. The news often reports on elderly people being deceived into buying health products!" I chimed in to explain to Grandpa.
"No, I haven't bought any of those things!" Grandpa waved his hand dismissively, impatiently trying to brush it off.
Aunt, however, was the financial director of a state-owned enterprise and directly demanded Qin Zhili to bring out the accounts from the past two months.
Qin Zhili stood frozen in place, looking embarrassed. There was no need to ask; she clearly hadn't kept any records, and there must be issues with the accounts.
"When we signed the contract, we agreed that you would keep daily records," Aunt reminded her. The nanny had been hired with Aunt's money, and it was clearly stated in black and white that all meals needed to be recorded. Now Qin Zhili couldn't produce anything.
"This... this..." Qin Zhili looked at Grandpa with a face full of grievance, as if we were the ones bullying her.
Grandpa's heart softened when he saw Qin Zhili like this. He slammed his hand on the table and shouted angrily, "What do you mean by this? Are you feeling pain spending a little money? Second Aunt also had a bad temper. Hearing Grandpa defend the nanny, she got so angry that she started arguing with him. I secretly called over my six-year-old Nephew and asked her to open the package and bring out what was inside.
Nephew found a pair of scissors, opened the package, and picked up a piece of Lace Lingerie, walking over to everyone. "Grandpa has such beautiful clothes; they look so nice!"
The aunts and Grandpa, who were in the middle of a heated argument, instinctively turned to look at Nephew upon hearing her words. When they saw the cool garment in Nephew's hands, their faces turned pale.
"Binbin, where did you get that?" Aunt was the first to react and asked Nephew.
Nephew pointed at the package and said she got it from inside, adding, "There are many toys in there too!"
"You take your sister out to play!" Aunt pulled out two hundred yuan and asked underage Cousin to take Nephew out. After the two minors left, Aunt finally brought the package in front of everyone. Clearly written on it was Grandpa's name as the recipient.
