Time flies, Jian Chen and Xu Yi are about to embark on a new journey.

"Jian Chen, you did well on the mock exam this time! Did you study secretly during the summer vacation?" Xing Hao leaned on Jian Chen's shoulder.
"Well, just studied for a summer." Jian Chen said casually.
Xing Hao pursed his lips, "What about our agreement to be decadent? Are we still brothers?"
"No!" Jian Chen shrugged off Xing Hao's arm.

"Xu Yi, you got first place again this time, I only made it to the top ten," Bai Jinxi said, pursing her lips as she looked at Xu Yi.
Xu Yi smiled slightly, "Just lucky."
Bai Jinxi knew that Xu Yi didn't achieve first place by luck. She had witnessed her hard work. The two of them chatted casually. Suddenly, Bai Jinxi remembered Xu Yi's previous trip to the ancient city. Bai Jinxi suddenly looked sly, "What were you doing in the ancient city that day?"
Xu Yi was a little flustered by Bai Jinxi's question, not knowing how to answer.
"I just went for a stroll, to see the scenery and architecture there," Xu Yi casually made up a reason.
Bai Jinxi looked at Xu Yi's expression and instantly became interested after hearing her answer. "You never seem to get tired of this ancient city since you were a child, huh?" Bai Jinxi said with a sly smile, as if she had already seen through Xu Yi's lie.
Xu Yi felt a little embarrassed by Bai Jinxi's smile and had to come clean. "Uh, well, it's just that he came, so I'm taking him to stroll around," Xu Yi said, her voice getting smaller and even avoiding direct eye contact with Bai Jinxi.
Upon hearing this response, Bai Jinxi first paused, then a hint of confusion flashed in her eyes. "He? Which 'he'?" But then she immediately realized, "Oh, it's Jian Chen, right?" Bai Jinxi said lightly, "So, what did you guys go to the ancient city for?"
Xu Yi's face was a little flushed, she didn't expect Bai Jinxi to be so thorough in her questioning. "Just, just strolling around, looking at the scenery and all," Xu Yi said somewhat hesitantly.
Seeing Xu Yi's expression, Bai Jinxi's interest grew even stronger. "Have you made any progress?" Bai Jinxi's gossip soul was burning.
"No, no, not at all," Xu Yi repeatedly waved her hand, her accelerated heartbeat, not knowing how to respond.
Bai Jinxi looked at Xu Yi's expression and already had an answer in her heart.
"Don't lie to me. I have sharp eyes and can tell there's something fishy between you two," Bai Jinxi said with a sly smile.
Xu Yi felt a bit embarrassed by Bai Jinxi's smile, knowing that she had been found out.
"Okay, we did make some progress, we held hands," Xu Yi had to confess.
"Wow, that's good progress! Congratulations!" Bai Jinxi said happily. "Anything else? Like..." then she gestured a kissing motion with her hand.
Xu Yi instantly blushed at Bai Jinxi's question. "No, no, just a hug," Xu Yi said somewhat stutteringly.
"Wow!" Bai Jinxi exclaimed excitedly.
"A hug isn't bad either! Keep up the good work, I believe in you," Bai Jinxi joked.
Xu Yi felt a little embarrassed by Bai Jinxi's words. "Oh, alright, let's stop talking about this. It's time for class," Xu Yi changed the subject.
Bai Jinxi When the bell for class rang, I had to put away my gossiping expression.

"No, Jian Chen, you haven't told me what you did in City A during the summer vacation," Xing Hao suddenly remembered this matter.
"I didn't do anything, just went to see the scenery." Jian Chen felt a little guilty.
Xing Hao looked at him incredulously, "No, your expression is obviously not right. Tell me, what did you really do?"
Jian Chen saw Xing Hao's persistent questioning and had no choice but to come clean, "I went to see her."
Xing Hao suddenly realized and excitedly almost jumped up, "Oh, it's Xu Yi, you went to find Xu Yi."
Jian Chen looked at Xing Hao's excited look, shook his head in confusion, "Are you okay? Why do you look more excited than me?"
Xing Hao chuckled, "Why is it not okay? I'm your buddy, of course I have to care about your emotional matters."
Jian Chen sighed, "You don't need to worry, just don't go blabbing everywhere."
Xing Hao smiled, "Alright, you don't need to worry about me. Besides, there's nothing to talk about."
Jian Chen glanced at him, looking somewhat skeptical.

Jian Chen: [Are you there?]
Xu Yi: [Yes, I'm here.]
Jian Chen: "I did well on the practice exam this time, do I get a reward?"
Xu Yi: "A reward? What do you want as a reward?"
Jian Chen: "Hmm... how about a video call?"
Xu Yi: "Are you available for a video call now?"
Jian Chen: "If you're available now."
Xu Yi: "Sure."

Jian Chen saw Xu Yi appear in the video, she looked a bit tired.
Jian Chen asked with concern, "What's wrong? You look a bit tired."
Xu Yi sighed, "It's nothing, just that I spent a long time working on a title just now."
Jian Chen listened and felt a bit uneasy. He really wanted to say that if she was tired, she could take a break and didn't have to push herself so hard. But he knew Xu Yi's personality; she was always so strong-willed and always wanted to do her best.

Xu Yi: "Good night."
