In the cold storage, the intense headache had caused Liu You'er to roll around on the icy floor, her body shaking violently, nearly fainting. If she could faint, it might have been more comfortable, but suddenly a warm current surged within her and flooded into her brain. This warmth, which should have felt soothing, now burned like magma, making her repeatedly bang her head against the ground in an attempt to alleviate the pain. However, even with blood streaming from her head, it was of no use; her body had lost its sense of pain, and this suffering originated from deep within her brain. As time passed, a small room gradually appeared in her mind, becoming clearer and clearer. Finally, at the moment Liu You'er clearly saw this room, she fainted as she wished. 0

Sunlight streamed through the window and illuminated the face of a person lying on the bed. Liu You'er slowly opened her eyes and found herself in a strange little wooden cabin. The room was about 30 square meters and very simple; it could be said to be bare of furnishings. Apart from the wooden bed she was lying on, there was only a wooden table in the center of the hall and four small wooden chairs. This inexplicable scene caused Liu You'er to momentarily freeze. 0

"What’s going on? Did I just finish experiencing the apocalypse and now I’ve crossed over? This is so cliché..." 0

She hurriedly checked her body and found it looked pretty much the same as before. With a disappointed sigh, she thought, "Still looking like this; when will my looks recover?! My heart hurts~" Since her headache had lessened, she stood up and walked around the room, knocking and tapping everything. She discovered that there were indeed no hidden mechanisms or secret compartments, which left her feeling somewhat disappointed. She thought to herself, "Seriously, fairy tales are all lies! I thought I could find some secret treasure or something to gain an advantage! Hmph!" 0

Pushing open the door, a breath of fresh air that didn’t belong to modern times rushed in. A stone-paved path came into view, surrounded by lush grass. About five or six meters in front of the cabin was a well, next to which stood a willow tree. A few meters further ahead was a fenced area surrounded by mist, which seemed to have an invisible barrier that could not be crossed. Bored, she sat by the well and looked inside; the water was clear and emitted a sweet fragrance that tempted Liu You'er. She drew up a bucket of water and thought, "I can’t eat anything; at least I can drink water~ If I can’t drink it, I can take a bath~" Taking a shallow sip confirmed its sweetness—she couldn't tell how much better it tasted than mineral water. The cool well water flowed down her throat slowly, creating a refreshing sensation in her stomach. This feeling was different from the warm current that had previously coursed through her body; it was gentle like a mother caressing her child while this new sensation felt like being outdoors amidst nature, clearing her mind completely. Her body gradually became fuller and no longer resembled a dried-up ghost. 0

This development made Liu You'er widen her eyes in surprise. She poured the remaining water over her head and watched as her dry hair instantly absorbed the moisture, becoming smooth and shiny. Her skin was no longer pale but instead had a tender white hue; even her black nails were washed clean and appeared pinkish-white. This transformation made Liu You'er so happy that she nearly jumped up and couldn’t help but laugh out loud. 0

"Eh? I can speak now? No more trying to think of something witty but only managing to make incoherent sounds? Hahaha~ Perfect! So this well water is a treasure! I wonder where it came from; I should save some so I don’t run out." After being excited for a moment, she began to ponder, "But how do I get back to the cold storage?" With that thought in mind, the scene before Liu You'er transformed into that of the cold storage again, surprising her once more. "Wow! Just thinking about it brings me back?" She closed her eyes and tried again; when she opened them again, she found herself back by the well. 0

"Hahahahahaha!!! Oh yeah~ This is amazing! If I encounter enemies in the future, I can just hide like this; they’ll never catch me!" But soon disappointment set in. First of all, she couldn’t move from her location; wherever she entered space was where she would exit as well. Secondly, she could only stay in that space for five hours each day; exceeding that time would forcefully kick her out until another day passed before she could re-enter—even if she went in at seven o'clock at night and came out at midnight, she wouldn’t be able to go back until after twelve-oh-one. This slightly comforted her as she quickly discovered that anything she wanted could automatically be stored in that space with just a touch—provided it didn’t exceed the size of the cabin and living things couldn’t be stored either. Nevertheless, having such an ability was quite satisfying; a portable space! Liu You'er looked at the little wooden cabin filled with various supplies and smiled contentedly as she walked outside. 0

For some reason, these zombies ran away upon seeing her as if they found her terrifying. Taking out a mirror to check her face revealed that the woman in the reflection had slightly curled hair cascading obediently over her shoulders with a hint of rosy glow. Her skin was flawless like high-quality jade; her eyes sparkled with lively light while their outer corners slightly lifted like a lazy Persian cat's gaze. Her eyelashes curled like those of a doll making her look charmingly delicate; paired with her cute nose and rosy lips that curved slightly upwards made her appear exceptionally demure. Although she had been considered pretty before, comparing herself now felt like night and day—calling herself stunning wouldn’t be an exaggeration at all. Puzzledly she remarked aloud: "Why? I'm clearly more beautiful than before! Why are these zombies running away? Could they be intimidated by my beauty?!" 0

Chuckling at herself for such shameless thoughts while shaking her head dismissively, she stepped outside. Just as she exited the door, she felt a scorching gaze coming from ten meters to her right side. Alerted, Liu You'er turned her head only to exclaim in surprise: "Liu Yue?!" 0
