Tokyo, Japan.
"Boss, that kid is missing..."
"No way, we have to take him down today. Search everywhere, don't leave any corner unchecked."
"Yes, boss..."
In a small alley at the street corner, a boy crouched against the gray-black wall, panting heavily. His white shirt was torn and stained with blood, and his body was covered in wounds, especially the deep cut on his chest that looked particularly alarming. It seemed the attacker was determined to take his life.
He was exhausted, but he knew those who wanted to kill him were still on his trail. If he didn't want to die here, he had to get up and keep running. The bar where Sō was located was nearby; it seemed that finding Sō was his only chance of survival...
"You're hurt. Do you need help?"
The boy looked up at the girl in front of him who wanted to lend a hand. She spoke fluent Japanese and appeared to be around fourteen or fifteen years old. With her watery eyes gazing at him earnestly, he found himself swallowing back the refusal he wanted to voice. He nodded; perhaps he really needed an angel to help him escape...
"You go look over there; I'll check the back. Let's meet here in a bit..."
The boy furrowed his brow, surprised that they had come so quickly. It seemed he needed to leave soon. Those people were armed with machetes, and he didn't believe this little girl could protect him from them. Besides, there was no reason to drag her into this danger on their first meeting.
"Are they looking for you? Don't move; it will tear your wounds. Trust me, I can help you hide from them..." After saying this, the girl quickly took off her dark brown coat and draped it over the boy carefully, mindful of his injuries. Then she tousled his hair and pulled out a pair of glasses from her coat pocket and placed them on his face.
Once everything was set, she heard footsteps approaching and knew those people were getting closer. Without hesitation, she crouched down and pressed her lips against the boy's lips...
She stretched out her arms and tightly embraced him, almost covering her entire body in front of the boy. She kissed him earnestly, to the extent that it was hard to believe she was still an underage girl. The moment her lips touched his, the boy's eyes widened in surprise; he never expected that her promise to help him avoid those people would come in this form. Yet, her lips seemed to possess a kind of magic, and despite the pain coursing through his body, he was almost tempted. However, he knew she was just a stranger and merely a little girl; her kiss was only to save him, and he shouldn't entertain such thoughts...
The footsteps grew closer and then gradually faded away. Those people would never suspect that one of the couple locked in an embrace was their target...
After a moment, the alley returned to its previous calm. The girl slowly pulled away from the boy's lips, her face flushed and her lips slightly swollen. She reached out to remove the glasses from his face and shyly said, "They've gone far away; they shouldn't come back. Are you... okay?"
"Could you... please take me to the city center... Liuguang, to find Mukai Hisashi... please!" After saying this, the boy unexpectedly fainted.
"Hey... wake up... wake up..." The girl looked at the boy who had collapsed in her arms and sighed helplessly...
